Thrilled to announce that #AI4Work along with fellow Horizon Europe project BatCAT are organizing DCLXVI (Designing the Conceptual Landscape for a XAIR Validation Infrastructure) 2024 International Workshop. The Workshop will take place in Kaiserslautern, Germany on December 11th 2024 and will compare different points of view on what it means to make models and data explainable-AI-ready (XAIR), in addition to being findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR), so that they become "FAIR and XAIR." Human-centric Digital Twin Approaches to Trustworthy AI and Robotics for Improved Working Conditions

AI4Work will investigate practical methods and tools for optimal sharing of work between humans and AI/robots. AI and robotics are likely to be most powerful means for radical improvement of working conditions in diverse domains, as they can support human operators in diverse tasks starting from difficult and tedious manual labor tasks up to complex decision-making tasks. The vision of the AI4Work project is to improve communication and collaboration between humans, AI and robots, allowing for an improvement of the working conditions within different processes in organisations in several domains in terms of increased efficiency of work, reduction in stress upon employees, increased confidence in decision-making process etc. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101135990.

The 2nd General Meeting of #AI4Work took place in Piraeus on May 15th-17th 2024. During the meeting, the partners had the opportunity to engage in extensive and productive discourse mainly focused on pilots requirements. They also delved into various other aspects of the project, while presenting and discussing the progress made with respect to upcoming deliverables. #AI4Work #HorizonEU #EUResearch #robotics
