This system enables wireless temperature monitoring of transformers and remote transmission of data to the cloud via LTE-M. An individual API interface for your own system is also provided. With an internal battery system that enables up to 10,000 transmission cycles, the HOOTS HTM-100 is self-sufficient and location-independent. Thanks to a user-friendly mobile app, you can set measurement and transmission cycles individually and receive alerts when limit values are exceeded. 💧 Water is precious – it's time we did more to protect it! 💧 World #Water Day is celebrated on March 22 each year, reminding us all how important this resource is to us. Water utilities in Germany have managed to significantly reduce water losses due to burst pipes and leaks, for example: in 1991, 758 million m³ were lost in this way, but by 2022, the figure had fallen to 469 million m³ 💪. That´s great, but still room to improve! Whether it's through small leaks, creeping burst pipes or uncontrolled water leaks in buildings and industrial plants. While unused water is simply wasted, leaks can cause enormous damage at the same time – from damp walls to production downtime. 👀 👉 That's why we're dedicating the next few days here on LinkedIn to #IoT sensor technology for water – to kick things off: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐨𝐓! 🔹 Point leak sensors detect water accumulations at critical points. 🔹 Leak sensors with a cable can monitor longer distances, e.g. along pipes or in server rooms. 🔹 Membrane sensors register moisture where it shouldn't be – for example, under machines or in cavities. 🔹 Flow sensors measure water volumes and sound the alarm when an unexpected amount of water flows. 💡 With these IoT technologies, water loss becomes visible – and can be stopped before damage occurs.
