What if our customers could become co-creators of our upcoming collection at C&A? 💭 💛 With our innovative engagement tool ‘Style Scout’ we have been testing a simple yet fun way to gather consumer’s feedback even before a new collection hits our stores. How? 💡 With the Style Scout, customers can evaluate the style & price of potential products with only two clicks and share further thoughts with us. “We are consumer-obsessed and want to create the best collection for our customers. The best way to do that is by asking them to better understand their expectations and preferences. Based on the feedback we can adapt our range and only produce what our customers really love”, explains Daniel Jimenez, Chief Merchandising Officer. 💡 The initial idea for the tool was developed by Philipp Kreß, Senior Digital Product Manager: “As a member of the C&A Young Professional Board I pitched the idea to our Leadership Team. Together we have been continually developing and improving the idea. It has been quite a ride, but bringing a pioneering solution to life now is a fantastic experience!” 💡 An interdisciplinary team of colleagues from digital experience, consumer insights, merchandising, marketing, and brand design worked together to create the tool in cooperation with our partner @First Insights. In a pilot, we invited members of the 'C&A for you' membership program in Spain to test the Style Scout. 💡 “Artificial Intelligence is at the heart of the Style Scout and it is now learning to interpret our customer’s feedback to predict future purchase decisions. In our first pilot we received evaluations from 3,500 customers within only 24 hours. That’s amazing! And a great example of how we improve the customer experience through innovation: We strengthen the connection with our customers while also providing guidance to our design and merchandising teams”.
