There is currently a little more daylight every day – not only good for the soul in the winter times, but also for our solar carports in Riedstadt. The construction works in Riedstadt are continuing and we are pleased to show the scheduled scale of the PV systems on the entire site with this graphic. In the end, an impressive 79,000 square metres will be equipped with solar carports! ☀️ Just to remember: In future, this should generate an annual yield of 16 million kilowatt hours. ARS Altmann AG is strengthening its assets and is taking the next steps towards greater sustainability! We have installed new car washes at several locations in Germany, for example in #Wolnzach and #Riedstadt. In favour of modernisation and to save water as a valuable resource 🏞️ .   The new installations also include biological wastewater treatment. Positive effect: The reduced energy consumption of course contributes to our sustainability goals. Vor allem wenn es sich um eine weitreichende Initiative wie „Jeder Meter zählt – Bündnis Gütergleise“ handelt mit dem Ziel, die Zukunftsfähigkeit des Schienengüterverkehrs zu fördern. 🎯 Unter https://lnkd.in/dsDeGwFz hat die Initiative, die voraussichtlich ab Mitte 2025 als Bündnis in Aktion treten soll,  nun eine eigene Webpräsenz. Klar strukturiert und kompakt mit allen Informationen zum Projekt und aktuellen Aktionen und News. Der Schienengüterverkehr nimmt eine wichtige Rolle ein, um LKW-Kilometer und damit CO2-Emissionen einzusparen. Abstell- und Dispositionsgleise, Zugbildungsanlagen und andere Serviceeinrichtungen sind dafür mitentscheidend, allerdings wurden sie in den vergangenen 25 Jahren stark zurückgebaut. Doch ohne ausreichend „Parkplätze auf der Schiene“ lassen sich #Dekarbonisierung und #Klimaschutz nicht erreichen.  „Ziel ist, auf den bundesweiten Infrastrukturbedarf der Industrie und der Logistik für den  Güterverkehr im deutschen Eisenbahnnetz permanent aufmerksam zu machen“, sagt Dr. Maximilian Altmann, Vorstandsvorsitzender der ARS Altmann AG und Initiator von „Jeder Meter zählt“. „Wir laden Verlader aus Industrie und Handel, Logistiker und Eisenbahnunternehmen ein, diesem Bündnis als Partner beizutreten und es zu unterstützen.“ Mit der neuen Website bekommt „Jeder Meter zählt“ nun einen weiteren wichtigen Touchpoint nach außen. 🚨 Construction site report – next interim goal achieved: 25,000 square metres of our compound in Riedstadt have already been fitted with solar carports! And the work doesn't stop in the winter either; as the project currently stands, everything should be completed by summer 2025. By then, 79,000 square metres will be used to generate electricity with the help of solar energy: We practise thereby also climate protection. ☀️ In future, this should generate an annual yield of 16 million kilowatt hours. For comparison: this energy output could supply approximately 4,000 four-person households with electricity for a year. Discover Porsche Consulting Magazine's new article on the current state of the German railway system and its initiatives, also highlighted by our CEO, Dr Maximilian Altmann. An interesting interview focused on the benefits of rail transport for finished vehicles, which ARS Altmann AG - Automobillogistik is further developing with a fleet of over 3,500 closed and open railcars to reduce CO2 emissions, road congestion and damage rates of transported vehicles.   Moreover, there is a strong focus on the preservation and development of freight tracks, which have recently been reduced to allow the development of infrastructure for other types of rail traffic. Working together is important, being a team even more. The ARS Altmann AG - Automobillogistik management workshop in the Lake #Garda region aimed to do just that for three days: Creating ideas for 2025, getting to know each other even better and collectively developing the best and most viable concepts for key topics such as #sustainability.
