ASAM is hosting an "ASAM ODS CROSS TEST" allowing ASAM #ODS tool providers to test the compatibility among ASAM ODS-based software components (i.e. servers and clients) from different vendors. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eYTDTNWd ASAM ODS Cross Test 🌐 Read more: https://lnkd.in/eYTDTNWd 📅 Date: Nov 04 - 05, 2024 📍 Location: Peak Solution GmbH, Aachen, Germany REGISTER BY WEDNESDAY, OCT 23, 2024 The cross test allows you to test the protocols CORBA and HTTP, the EXD API (introduced in ASAM ODS V6.2.0 for accessing external data from an ODS server) and the compatibility of ASAM ODS #ATFX files. Special emphasis is placed on the exchange of #NVH #data. At a cross test, the participating companies cooperate to verify and improve their software in real life scenarios. Participants help each other to understand the tiny differences in the formats of data of different programs and to solve the difficulties they might encounter in interpreting these data. Additionally, unclarities, ambiguities and contradictions in the standard may be revealed and can be resolved in a next step. 🚀 ASAM is initiating a follow-up project to the recently released ASAM OpenTestSpecification concept paper. Register for the proposal workshop on Oct 10, 2024: https://lnkd.in/djDFDetG This project aims to extend three major ASAM standards, ASAM #ODS, ASAM #OTX Extensions, and ASAM #XIL, with the goal to align their development with the requirements outlined in the concept paper. The project may also develop a new, overarching #standard "ASAM #TestSpecification". PUBLIC REVIEW - We invite all experts to review the newly developed #ASAMChecker Framework, as well as the release candidates of ASAM #OpenDRIVE 1.8.1 and ASAM #OpenSCENARIO XML 1.3.1 with their newly defined checker rules: https://lnkd.in/dbmgU7uq (Deadline: Sep 30, 2024) The "ASAM Quality Checker Framework" aims to reduce ambiguities in standard definitions and to support consistent levels of implementation across tools. Individual checkers will allow users to ensure conformity with the respective ASAM standards. The ASAM project groups invite all experts, both ASAM members and non-members, to review the release candidates. Day 1 of the #AVTExpoCA is over. We expected a lot, but the discussions and the interaction with the delegates and other exhibitors far exceeded these expectations. We hardly found the time to distribute our (almost) famous ASAM Member cubes in the exhibition hall and will continue distribution today. Stop by our booth 1026 - not only for the cubes but also for more discussions on how we can assist making your ideas a standard for the industry. If you wondered from yesterday's post what's within the cardboard car in our booth: it's the ASAM e.V. standards that are in and close to the car (see picture).
