This picture was taken in the summer of 2020, during the first COVID-19 lockdown when our company was founded. At that time, it was just us, the three managing directors, with no employees and a large, empty office. We had no company strategy nor any processes, and we couldn't meet people in person. All we had was a single sheet of paper outlining our new vision for robotic surgery. We were running around with this document recruiting engineers and gaining the support of stakeholders at B. Braun. Here we are, four years later, with more than 60 employees who possess excellent competencies and contribute to an outstanding company culture. Our robotic surgery platform is being developed in record time, and our partners in manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, and sales are highly engaged in preparing for global market entry. We have worked with around 100 international surgeons, have protected our IP with over 50 patent applications. And we take great pride in being at the forefront of B. Braun’s corporate innovation strategy. Throughout this journey, we experienced many highlights but also some lowlights - tailwinds and headwinds. While we still have a long way to go, we could not be more grateful for the progress we have made. This success is the result of our team's relentless drive, strong collaboration with our partners, and the continuous support and trust of the B. Braun Executive Management Team.

After a while also the adults were inspired and picked a brush. Resulting in a wonderful piece of art which is now decorating our office.

VR demos allowed everybody to immerge into an operating room and interact with our robotic surgery platform.
