Once again, the Bekum runner team proudly participated in the Vision Run 2024, joining over 4,000 runners and walkers from more than 150 companies. It was a fantastic day filled with energy, camaraderie, and purpose as we took on the 5 km course, contributing to an incredible donation of €43,625 for six partner projects.   Thank you to everyone who made this event a success! Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the recent floods in Lower Austria, including our colleagues, their families, and local businesses. While we are grateful that our Traismauer production facility was spared, we extend our deepest sympathy to all those facing these difficult circumstances.

We are pleased to announce the successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of our EBLOW 408D machine with Cura Packaging B.V., marking a key step in the production of a new pharma product. Our close collaboration and significant contribution to Cura’s product development played a crucial role in shaping this success.   Wim Oosterling, Cura’s CTO, shared his feedback following the trials:   "As a supplier of medical devices, qualification of our production machine is critical. Running our qualification trials this week at Bekum we did not only find out that our new machine is very capable to do the job, but also that in the Bekum-team we have partner behind our production asset. After some effective optimization steps, we could run the requested quality standard at a very high stability. Our team was supported during all the trials by a professional team."
