BERLIN QUANTUM - Berlin's strong initiative for research and industry in the fields of QCommunication, QSensing, QComputing and enabling technologies such as photonics, microelectronics and software! This joint initiative by Berlin's business community, research institutions and universities aims to make Berlin an international hotspot for the research and development of quantum technologies. At the same time, a new innovation hub and co-working space for quantum technologies in Berlin will be unveiled at the Berlin Adlershof Innovation and Start-up Centre: the Leap. In future, it will offer a platform for dialogue, networking and collaboration between players from science, business and the start-up scene who want to explore the potential and challenges of quantum technologies. There will also be free space for new start-ups and guests who want to gain an insight into Berlin's quantum ecosystem. BERLIN QUANTUM pursues an interdisciplinary and cross-sector vision to make Berlin a global leader in the field of quantum technologies and invites all interested parties to participate in this exciting development and jointly shape the future of quantum technologies. The common vision is to drive forward excellent research and to promote the transfer of quantum technologies into the diverse fields of application and to utilise the associated potential for companies and the economy. To this end, the following institutions are working together to develop suitable activities and formats. BERLIN QUANTUM is an open initiative to everyone who is working and devloping quantum technologies in Berlin, wants to become part of the ecosystem or is just interested in getting to know what's happening in the German capital city about QT.
