3, 2, 1... camera rolling 🎬: in an internal video format, Peter Schmidt, CEO of Berner Omnichannel Trading Holding, provides regular updates on the latest developments in our core business, including the launch of innovative products. But how do these innovations come about and how do we know which products have real added value for our customers? To get to the bottom of this, we produced the latest episode in our in-house laboratory in Duisburg. This time with as special guest: Johannes Halama, Teamlead Engineering. In the lab, Johannes and his team develop and test new chemical products. Highlight was a live demo of our latest innovation: the X-treme Parts Cleaner Spray, with which even hard-to-reach areas of car parts can be cleaned easily. The future has just begun 🚀! Last week, our Romanian subsidiary opened its brand-new headquarters in the city of Arad, starting the next chapter in a long-lasting success story. The location offers state-of-the-art facilities, including a modern warehouse, showrooms, offices and training areas. The perfect environment to ensure that we always offer the best solutions to our customers challenges. The journey continues 🚀 One year ago, we successfully started our Group-wide corporate #responsibility project Future Youth. The aim is to introduce young people to the world of work and help them make informed decisions about their professional future. What a great start into the new financial year 🚀! Great news 📣 At this year's German Brand Award, one of the most important national marketing awards, we won twice! Firstly, with our event series to introduce the new BERNER brand to more than 7.000 employees across Europe and secondly, with the unique strategy behind the brand relaunch. In both categories ('brand communication - brand events' and 'brand strategy - B2B') we were honoured as winner 🏆! The two awards are representative of the great achievements of the entire team, who not only gave their all for the successful relaunch, but also bring our new brand to life every day. We couldn't be more #proud!

Happy 1st birthday to our new BERNER brand 🎂! One year ago we initiated the biggest brand relaunch in our company's history by introducing it to more than 7.000 employees at nine events across Europe. And what a journey it has been since then: over the past year, we have successively redesigned all brand elements according to our new visual language, including products, depots, company cars and offices, to name just a few. We could not be more #proud of what we've achieved over the past year. What a successful start to the outdoor season: The “Kleeblatt” kindergarten in Waldenburg, close to our founding location in Künzelsau, is now busy gardening and will soon be harvesting delicious fruit, vegetables and herbs. They are equipped with three new raised beds and a herb snail, which we donated and installed as part of our social commitment. 🌱🍓🍏 Five colleagues worked hard on site for a whole day. First, an old, dilapidated raised bed was removed and the area cleared of undergrowth and weeds. This was followed by the setup of the equipment, which was planted with seedlings and seeds at the end. A big thank you goes to the motivated helpers who clearly showed what #pushingthelimits means in terms of our corporate responsibility! 👏   #csr #social #responsibility #valuedriven
