BSM has become a member of the SEA-LNG coalition, a not-for-profit collaborative industry foundation committed to furthering the use of LNG as an important, environmentally superior maritime fuel. SEA-LNG has members across the entire LNG value chain, including providers of the product, users, engine and asset suppliers, and class societies.     BSM is the first ship manager to join the organisation – bringing its decades of LNG operational experience and technical insight to SEA-LNG. We have a proven track record as the world’s largest third-party ship manager of gas carriers. BSM has more than 100 gas carriers under management, over half of which are LNG carriers. We also manage close to 30 LNG dual-fuel ships and currently 2 LNG bunker vessels and with more coming into management.      At BSM, we are committed to LNG as a marine fuel. It is a proven, technically mature solution already being used on many ships, offering comprehensively developed supply and bunkering infrastructure. On 1st August, the 870-tonne heavy stern for Bernhard Schulte Offshore’s CSOV was moved to the dry dock to be assembled with the vessel's forepart.   This vessel is the first of two Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs) which Bernhard Schulte Offshore GmbH ordered in 2023.  Crist Shipyard in Poland is preparing the hulls of both vessels before they embark on their journey to ULSTEIN Verft in Norway for completion.
