Time for exchange 🗣💬 In our so-called Global Product Centers at Bilfinger, we bundle and standardize the services we provide to our customers in Europe, North America and Middle East. They are an important aspect of our Group Strategy to become the number 1 for our customers in enhancing #efficiency and #sustainability. 🌱🔄 A few weeks ago, colleagues from #TeamBilfinger came together in the city of Elsloo, the Netherlands, for the Half-Year Review 2024 of the Global Product Center ➡ Maintenance Solutions. 📸👇 The main objectives on their agenda were to understand regional developments, align our actions and share #bestpractices. As they met at a former Stork site, one of the highlights was a gallery walk at a workshop guided by our new colleagues. ✨

Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay 🧠🧡   While a broken leg and a running nose are clearly visible, most signs of mental stress are not. On top of that, talking about #MentalHealth is often still considered a taboo – particularly at work. As mental health issues often go unnoticed, today's the day to raise awareness.   Across our regions at Bilfinger, we are striving to protect and promote our colleagues' holistic #wellbeing. Whether it's training employees to become Mental Health First Aiders (some of them in the photos below), offering individual, confidential coachings, introducing digital tools and platforms for professional guidance or implementing preventive health programs at our various sites. Thanks to the colleagues at #TeamBilfinger who work or volunteer as Health Specialists, Advisors and First Aiders! Not only today, but every day. #WMHD #MHFA

4️⃣ Letters with a huge impact: HSEQ – short for Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Functional and effective #HSEQ processes are a top priority at Bilfinger, ensuring both a safe, #sustainable workplace for our colleagues and high-quality, resource-friendly and #efficient services for our clients. 👷♂️💪🌱🔄 Cross Audits are a prime example of how we continuously work to uphold our high standards, improve our processes and share best practices internally. 📋💯 These internal audits are conducted at individual sites by independent auditors, which are selected by a different region or business line to ensure an objective evaluation of the HSEQ performance. Last week, the first of a total of 13 Cross Audits took place at Bilfinger Middle East – two sites in Bahrain and Qatar successfully completed the audits with very good results. ✅ “#Quality means understanding and fulfilling customer needs while maintaining the highest #health, #safety, and #environmental standards,” said Niklas Hansen, Senior Group HSEQ Manager. He and our colleague Jacek Szpilak were on site and came to an unanimous conclusion: Thanks to the excellent collaboration of everyone involved, the first #audit turned out to be a remarkable achievement. 🎉 ➡ Coming up next in our Cross Audit program: Bilfinger Nordic Region

The term Lean Management refers to methods and measures which are taken to make company processes along the whole value chain more efficient. As #efficiency plays a key role in our strategy at Bilfinger, we regularly train colleagues from our different regions to become #LeanExperts. 🎓 We kicked off the 6th wave of our extensive in-person trainings with 14 soon-to-be Lean Experts at our Bilfinger Site in Stenungsund, Sweden.   Lean@Bilfinger means applying the taught know-how in our daily work to:  ✅ streamline processes  ✅ make workflows more intelligent  ✅ reduce waste  ✅ implement local margin improvements We wish all participant an exciting continuation of their three-week training and a successful final presentation in December! 🤞    ⏩ Next stops: 📍 Krapkowice in Poland and 📍 Oberhausen/Herne in Germany.  

Driving the circular economy ♻💪 – with Europe's largest end-of-life tire recycling plant based on pyrolysis Bilfinger has been awarded with comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction management (EPCm) services for Circtec's new, groundbreaking #tire #recycling #facility in Delfzijl, the Netherlands. 🤝 There are two huge #sustainability 🌱 benefits to it: 1️⃣ The new plant will transform end-of-life tires into valuable, high-quality resources like #chemicals and #biofuels. 2️⃣ Thanks to the closed-loop system, the plant will be fully powered by the gases produced during the recycling process. 🚀 Career kick-start at #TeamBilfinger In the last couple of weeks and at various Bilfinger locations in Europe, young people have started their #careers with us. We welcomed almost 200 new apprentices and dual students in our Regions DACH, Nordic, Eastern Europe and UK alone. THANKS ❕ – to our colleagues in the different HR departments, who take care of the recruiting processes and also presented Bilfinger at numerous career days and job fairs throughout the year. Bilfinger UK, for example, hosted several Apprentice Assessment Days on site at our facilities, introducing us to potential apprentices and offering an opportunity to get to know each other. 👷♀️💬 THANKS ❕ – to our colleagues responsible for organizing the fun onboarding and team-building events that many of our #YoungTalents got to join. In Bilfinger Region DACH a group of apprentices got to demonstrate #teamwork by building rafts made of tires, boards and ropes. At Bilfinger Nuclear & Energy Transition, our newbies were given various tasks on Day 1 including the development of an #innovative flying device to securely transport two eggs to the ground. 💡🛩 Welcome, #YoungTalents! We’re excited to have you on board.  

It’s been almost six months since Stork became part of #TeamBilfinger. To us at Bilfinger, the acquisition of the former Stork units in the Regions BeNe and DACH is #ThePerfectFit to get highly skilled colleagues on board and to complement our service portfolio. ✨  By nature, this integration means transformation: To represent the new unity, the acquired Stork units will operate under the Bilfinger name and brand in the future – symbolizing our shared commitment and our joint journey of enhanced opportunities for colleagues and customers alike.  We’re excited to share photos of the first Stork sites that have been rebranded to reflect our mission to become one united Bilfinger family: Rotterdam and Elsloo in the Netherlands and Regensburg in Germany. 🤩 While we're growing further together day by day, we're excited about the milestones we're celebrating.
