As part of Insight Day, twelve of our German apprentices in their second year of apprenticeship in Sindelfingen and Rottenburg had the opportunity to shadow a manager for a day. Each apprentice chose the manager they wanted to follow. This experience at BITZER allows apprentices to learn directly from managers and gain firsthand insight into what it is like to be in a management role. They can put themselves in the manager’s shoes and develop a understanding of their tasks and challenges. For instance, Joel spent the day with Kai Schuppler, Vice President Fulfillment EMEA (image 1). Jana shadowed Ramona Augusto, Head of Corporate Digital Marketing (image 2), and Marcel had the chance to ask Ferdinand Breithuth, Plant Manager of Rottenburg-Hailfingen (image 3), numerous questions. Recently, we supported our customer Sinop CB in building a marine water cooling system for their customer Aeron AS, a turnkey contractor of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC+R) for marine and offshore, by providing marine approvals for our CO2 gas coolers and ECOLINE CO2 reciprocating compressors.
