Excellence in innovation and collaboration are the hallmarks of a successful partnership. That's why we present our Supplier Awards to recognize the outstanding achievements of our suppliers in the categories of #sustainability, #quality and #innovation. This year's winners are: 🌱In the Sustainability category, aluminium supplier Speira won for exceeding our sustainability standard and helping to further reduce the carbon footprint of our products.  👌In the quality category, family-owned Craemer GmbH, a supplier of production materials, won for its high product quality and good cooperation for more than 30 years.  👌Also in the quality category, we honoured the haulage company Rauh for their on-time delivery, smooth logistics and proactive support in continuously improving our processes. 💡In the Innovation category, start-up Alpas AI stood out for its AI-based scouting software, which makes the search for suitable suppliers faster and more efficient. For the first time, we also honoured two individuals with the Life-Time Award for their great commitment: 🏆Maurizio Basso from Cebi Group and 🏆Rene Bouverat from Alpes Factory have been working for over 20 years to maintain good relations between us and their companies.  

Our #headquarters in Shanghai brings together 11 sites in China and is an important hub for our global operations. Reason enough to take a closer look at our presence in China's most economically developed city. 🌏📍 In 1999, just four years after entering the Chinese market, we established a joint venture company in Shanghai. Six years later, we moved into our headquarters in the global metropolis. Yesterday we opened our third Brose Kids Club, this time at our location in Brose Slovakia. 🎉 In the immediate vicinity of the plant site, a modern #childcare facility has been created for children of our Brose employees.   The Kids Club concept is based on #successful models: We opened the first facility at our headquarters in Coburg/Germany in 2010 and have been operating a Kids Club in Ostrava/Czech Republic since 2014.   💬 "For us as a family-owned company, the compatibility of work and private life is of crucial importance. The better this goal is achieved, the more our employees can contribute to the company's success. At the same time, it increases our attractiveness as an employer," explained Steffen Tauss, Head of Social and Health Services at Brose.

Change in the management structure at Brose SE On October 2, 2024, the shareholders of the international automotive supplier transformed the dualistic structure of Brose SE into a monistic one. This requires several new designations: The previous Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Michael Stoschek, is now Chairman of the Administrative Board. His son Maximilian Stoschek remains his deputy as before. This means their tasks have not been changed. The Executive Board members are now Executive Directors of their respective divisions. The reason for this change was the lack of management and decision-making ability due to the lack of the owners' right to issue instructions to the Management Board as well as the lack of authority of the CEO over the other board members. This bureaucracy was paralyzing the company’s organization and the constructive collaboration between shareholders and management. To successfully address the various internal and external challenges, it is particularly important now to make swift and pragmatic decisions. Philipp Schramm has no longer been a member of the Executive Board since 2 October 2024, as he declined the appointment as Chairman of the Executive Directors. The shareholders have therefore appointed Stefan Krug , in addition to his responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer (COO), as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. Stefan Krug has been with Brose in various roles both domestically and internationally since 1998. The shareholders would like to thank Dr. Schramm for his successful work since 2020 and his tenure as CEO since September 2023. The management and staff welcome the change at the top and Michael Stoschek‘s willingness to support the Executive Directors again with his more than 50 years of experience in tackling the challenges ahead. #brose #automotive #buildingexcellencetogether

As the headquarters for the North American region, Detroit is home to our three business units – #Exterior, #Interior and #Drives – as well as corporate functions. We are proud to be recognized for our excellence, with industry awards such as "GM Supplier of the Year", "Top Workplaces", "Best & Brightest Companies to Work For", and "Crain's Excellence in HR". As of July of this year, Matt Conrad has been the new Brose North America President responsible for our activities throughout the region.
