🏆 We made it - CGN Esports has officially qualified for the Valorant Champions Tour 2024 EMEA: Ascension offline Final in Berlin! After an incredible run as three-time back-to-back DACH Champions in 2023 and Stage 1 2024, we faced a tough challenge in Split 2 2024. Although we lost to a strong MOUZ in the final, it only motivated us to come back even stronger. Through the Play-Ins (Last Chance Qualifier) for Ascension, we fought our way in without losing a single match. Now, after a competitive group stage, we’ve secured our spot in the Final! 💥 As the first German team to reach the Ascension offline Final in the new Riot Games Arena, we’re competing for a spot in the VCT EMEA – a historical moment! Yesterday, we lost in the upper final to the VCL Polaris champion Apeksgg and will now face PCIFIC Espor, the VCL Turkey champion, once again in the lower final for a potential spot in the Grand Final and a rematch against Apeks. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible team, especially our "Kölsche Jung" and IGL Benjamin "BennY" Domgörgen, and our head coach Navid "Kapio" Javadi, who have both been with our German roster since day one. A special shoutout to our assistant coach Vincent Talmon-Gros for their guidance and dedication in leading the team to success. 🏆 Triple for CGN Esports – Three-time consecutive VCL DACH Champion: Stages 1 & 2 2023 and Stage 1 2024! 🎉 What an incredible Stage 1! CGN broke the regular season curse against MOUZ and once again triumphed in the decisive Grand Final against the runner-up – a true match of equals that brought us a VCL DACH record with a title hat trick. ✨ Spring Festival and Fan March: Together with our community, we held a three-day Spring Festival attended by over 200+ people. We kicked off on Friday at a traditional Cologne brew house, followed by a joint fan march to the final at XPERION Germany Cologne at Hansaring, and wrapped up with a relaxed barbecue to celebrate the successful weekend. 🎮 Athletic Performance: The biggest applause, of course, goes to our outstanding players and our coach Navid 'Kapio' Javadi. You made this incredible experience possible and proved yourselves as true champions once again. 🚀 We are overwhelmed by the great support from our community – thank you to everyone who supported us, especially during the final as the "sixth man" on the field, making all the difference.
