Since our association began in 2015, we bring together over 300 members dedicated to promoting standards for charging systems across all types of electric vehicles (EVs) worldwide. We are thrilled to announce that we have reached a significant milestone of 15,000 followers! Thank you for your incredible support and for being part of our journey. This achievement is a testament to the growing interest in and commitment to advancing the future of e-mobility. Our cross-industry, non-profit organization includes stakeholders from automakers, charging station manufacturers, component suppliers, energy providers, grid operators, and more. Together, we are working towards interoperable charging solutions where vehicles, chargers, and software systems seamlessly integrate, ensuring a reliable and user-friendly experience for everyone. CharIN’s holistic approach extends beyond passenger cars. Over the past years, our dedicated Task Force has expanded its focus to include commercial vehicles, setting requirements for the Megawatt Charging System (MCS) to power not just trucks, but also e-ferries, ships, and planes in the near future. Looking ahead, CharIN is committed to defining the evolution of CCS (Combined Charging System) standards and certifying CCS-based products, ensuring the continued advancement of e-mobility.
