Welcome Home, Ben! 🚀 We are excited to welcome Ben Hesseldieck as Vice President of Technology & Engineering to our Tech & Product Due Diligence advisory team. Based in Berlin, Ben brings a unique blend of technical and business expertise, making him exceptionally well-suited to guide our global Private Equity and Growth clients in their tech investment decisions. Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Humboldt University of Berlin) in Berlin, where he specialized in AI-based email spam protection. From the start, he has bridged the gap between technology and finance—an essential skill in our field. As a multi-time tech entrepreneur and leader of technology teams, Ben has accumulated extensive operational leadership experience. Notably, Ben joined Code & Co. in 2016 as one of our first employees before moving on to leadership roles in two rapidly growing tech companies in Berlin. He built, grew, and led multiple engineering organizations, and designed resilient, scalable, and distributed cloud architectures. His contributions to open source and the development of sophisticated build pipelines follow industry best practices, enabling users to run products across any cloud with automation, resilience, and vendor-independence. Now, Ben rejoins Code & Co.—and we couldn’t be happier! “We’re thrilled to welcome back such a seasoned technology leader.
