The approved mock-up in the image showcases a handmade custom relief surface, realised to meet the client's demands. This striking façade brings a unique visual and architectural element to the project and it's our contribution to the new Research Center for Translational Medicine and Therapies in Vienna. The second image illustrates the full vision of this facility, which will serve as a hub for innovative medical research. 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐛𝐚𝐮 𝐕𝐞𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐭 𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐝® Presenting the façade picked by Trockenbau Veicht for their office building in Untergriesbach, Germany. The construction of the building coincided with their company’s 25th anniversary, thusly the customer selected a lightweight, weather-resistant, yet economical etalbond® FR aluminium composite panel. A peculiar fact is that the facade symbolically hugs the warehouse and workshop on encountering, making a subtle transition in shape and colour. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 🤝 During our recent visit to Polycon’s production facilities, we had the chance to roll up our sleeves, along with our partners from GFT Fassaden AG, and dove into the intricate process of creating fibreglass concrete elements for ventilated facades. This unique experience went beyond the typical technical exchange and discussions about expected quality—it was the hands-on involvement that gave everyone a palpable appreciation for the craftsmanship behind each element, and the skills required to actually bring it to life. Fiberglass concrete elements are the result of precise artisan techniques, often underestimated when simply viewing the final product. This session revealed just how much care and attention to detail go into each piece, fostering a deeper understanding of the true value embedded in every step of the production process. The Langenthal project is the headquarters of Swisscom in the center of Langenthal. 🇨🇭 More than 2.100 m2 of GFRC boards and Polycon shaped elements were produced for the cladding of this building.
