Exciting opportunity ahead as the new head of R&D @ Coramaze Israel office. Coramaze Technologies is a medical device company founded in 2013. We are on a mission to save lives by empowering physicians with an easy, fast, and effective repair solution for tricuspid regurgitation. Our solution, the TriPair system, brings healing to patients without access to alternative therapies. TriPair is anchored atraumatically in the right atrium, enabling full retrievability and intra-procedural efficacy evaluation. With offices in Germany and Israel, we are a venture backed clinical-stage company dedicated to making a positive impact in the medical field. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as VP of R&D at Coramaze Technologies located in Petah Tikva, adjacent to Sacham light rail station. As the VP of R&D, you will be responsible for leading our R&D team to meet ambitious goals in product & clinical development, including the implant and delivery system. Qualifications A minimum of 7 years of experience in research and development, preferably in the medical device industry Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring a team Strong knowledge of medical device regulations and standards Strong Solidworks CAD skills Experience in project management from concept to regulatory submission Excellent agility to shifting priorities and overcoming obstacles Excellent communication and presentation skills in English Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, advanced degree preferred Experience in the field of cardiology or cardiovascular devices is a plus
