It’s a wrap! 🎉 SEPAWA 2024 has officially closed last Friday. A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand! We had inspiring conversations with visitors and attended insightful presentations at the congress. Including a presentation by Alexander Jaekel from the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg about the “Surface Energy Components of Lipid-containing Artificial Skin and their Implications for Cleansing Purposes”. The surface characterization was done with the application of a contact angle measurement tool, our Drop Angle Meter DM 300. Prof. Cornelia Keck from the Philipps-University in Marburg explained in her impressive presentation “The journey of Active Ingredients Into the Skin – New Insights Into Dermal Drug Penetration” hitherto unknown mechanisms of dermal absorption that she has explored together with her team and that shed a completely new light on the requirements for formulations applied to the skin. She could even use our Moisture Map MM 200 to demonstrate the formation of a water barrier after skin massage. We are excited to build on these experiences and continue our #innovation journey.
