I am delighted to have been accepted to participate in the workshop at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Over the course of this two-day event, I gained in-depth knowledge about several powerful tools developed by the IBG-4 team, including Trimmomatic, Helixer, Mercator4, and Untwist, all of which hold valuable applications for #plantgenomics research and breeding efforts. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Sebastian Beier, Ata ul Haleem, Marie Bolger, and Rainer Schwacke, who served as excellent instructors and provided thoughtful answers to the many interesting questions raised throughout the sessions. My gratitude also goes to de.NBI for organizing this impactful workshop, which greatly benefits the scientific community. Lastly, I am sharing a few pictures from the event. While I regret not capturing more, I was deeply engaged in the learning process and captivated by the wealth of discussions and insights shared during the sessions.
