A Heartfelt Thank You from the Deutsches Museum to Vsquared Ventures and the #NewHorizons Event Attendees and Contributors
Last week, the Deutsches Museum had the privilege of hosting the #NewHorizons event at the Forum der Zukunft, a gathering that showcased the limitless potential of the European #deeptech ecosystem. The occasion was honored with the presence of distinguished individuals, including innovators, thinkers, and action-takers, notably the respected Prof. Stefan Hell, a Nobel Prize winner, director at Max Planck, and entrepreneur.
Prof. Hell's keynote, "Challenging Consensus: The Unwelcome Yet Valuable Path to Breakthroughs and Economic Value," left us all inspired and reflective. He eloquently shared his journey and the lessons learned.
His narrative wasn't just about his scientific achievements but a broader call to action for anyone striving to create something new against all odds. Prof. Hell reminded us of the importance of perseverance, especially when faced with skepticism and the label of "physically impossible."
This event was not just a platform for sharing groundbreaking ideas but a statement about our collective capacity to influence change and drive Europe forward as a global leader in deeptech innovation.
The Deutsches Museum plays a pivotal role in this discourse as a catalyst for innovation and knowledge exchange, especially at the Forum der Zukunft – the perfect venue to nurture visionary ideas and discuss groundbreaking developments that push the boundaries of science and technology.
Thank you Vsquared Ventures, Dr.-Ing. Herbert Mangesius, Thomas Oehl, Benedikt von Schoeler, Lise Rechsteiner, PhD! Our gratitude extends to every speak

We wanted to bring people together to talk about the groundbreaking technologies we have seen develop, often from an idea stage to growth, that will impact us and the way we live in future generations. What it took and takes for them to succeed: exceptional teams with perseverance and resilience - and an ecosystem supporting their growth.
Last week we hosted our founders and deeptech ecosystem at our first New Horizons event. And there is no better place to host such a format than the Forum der Zukunft of the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
Thank you Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Wolfgang M. Heckl, the Director of the Deutsches Museum, with Wolfgang Kerler from 1E9 and Aki Hertlein from SAFE AGENCY - without your entrepreneurial spirit, this magical place would not be available and open again to a broader public.
And thanks to all the amazing speakers, founders and friends, for filling the day and night with life!
Want to take a look for yourself? Then check out the video. And head over to the Vsquared Ventures for more pictures and insights.
