🎊 Health-i Award Winner 2024 is DiaMonTech AG!! So, what happened last night in Hamburg?! We are still astonished and gratified to have received this award as well as all the empowering words from people living with #diabetes or their relatives and friends. This is why we are doing this, so thank you! The event started with an inspirational talk moderated by Matthias R. and amazing insights from last year's winner Richard Fobo, as well as key opinion leaders Prof. Dr. Ariel Dora Stern and Dr. Tilman Schlick, MD, MBA. After a short meditation in honor of #mentalhealthday led by wonderful Flo Akinbiyi, we had the pleasure of opening the finalist pitches. And wow, what followed amazed us. All the finalists did a great job in showcasing the impact of their solutions and truly are winners themselves: 🥈 EASEE®Epilepsie, 🥉 MySympto, fabel, hellomed.com, iuvando Health, LillianCare, Pathmate Technologies AG, Recovery Cat and SmartAIs. The period leading up to the announcement was particularly challenging for us 😅 What a relief to listen to Dr. Anne Latz summarizing perfectly what we do. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful laudatory speech! A big, heartfelt thank you to everyone contributing to this event. We had a blast Handelsblatt, Techniker Krankenkasse Letting out all our joy singing together with Hansemädchen e. V was the 🍒 on top!!

Awarded for “most innovative German startup” from German business magazine Bilanz, DiaMonTech has developed a medical device that non-invasively measures your blood glucose without finger pricking, a drop of blood, or a test strip. Simply relax your fingertip on the sensor, wait 5 to 15 seconds, and your blood glucose level will be displayed. Our patented technology works with an invisible infrared light beam that looks into your skin and counts glucose molecules. Diabetes is a global challenge. More than 400 million people worldwide suffer from the disease. Our goal is to make checking your blood glucose level as easy as unlocking your phone. You will be able to get measurements throughout the day without pain or extra costs. Diabetologists suggest that more frequent blood glucose measurements can lead to better overall diabetes management and less diabetes-related illnesses. Until there’s a cure for diabetes, DiaMonTech can make living with it much easier.
