Being an engineer, I find it more enjoyable to work on problems, or experiment with different tools & processes, rather than marketing what I offer. Recently, when a client from 7 years ago asked what it is exactly that I do now – I realized I had to do a better job of explaining. People define "Diversity Consulting" in different ways, and it can be difficult to understand what it really means. With this video, I wanted to explain how I approach this topic. Looking at what’s going on around the world and the so-called “diversity backlash”, sometimes I feel discouraged and scared. Yet I still believe in the responsibility that businesses have for creating inclusive, equitable and diverse workplaces. Every day I see the need for high-quality, strategic work on diversity, people and culture topics, and I want to thank all my clients / friends who also believe in this vision. #diversity #inclusion #consulting
