One of the key challenges for engineers is optimizing the thermal behavior of these engines 🔧. In this video, you'll see how piston cooling works: coolant is sprayed into a small channel within the piston head. As the coolant flows through, it absorbs heat and exits at a higher temperature. Computer simulations help engineers visualize this complex process, enabling them to design more effective cooling systems by analyzing local velocity and temperature data 💻🔍.
