MAN hat den allerersten vollelektrischen 40-Tonnen schweren LKW an #DRÄXLMAIER übergeben. 🚚🤩 Wir werden mit dem MAN eTGX künftig Batterien an ein Leipziger Werk unseres Kunden transportieren. Die Entfernung zwischen unserem DRÄXLMAIER Standort und dem Kunden-Werk beträgt rund fünf Kilometer. Dabei transportiert der Truck durchschnittlich 15,5 Tonnen. Bis Ende des Jahres sollen noch zwei weitere Fahrzeuge folgen, so dass in Summe drei MAN für DRÄXLMAIER im Einsatz sein werden. „Mit dem Einsatz des MAN eTrucks erfüllen wir einen zentralen Aspekt unseres Nachhaltigkeitsverständnisses“, so Felix Klimas, Head of Supply Chain Management DRÄXLMAIER Group. Marija is a Specialist HR Digital Solutions at our headquarters in Vilsbiburg. Today she gives an insight into her DRÄXLMAIER journey. 🤩 ❓ How did you reach your current position in HR? After holding several positions in HR, from supporting plant needs, through a research and development centre, to a global role at headquarters, I came more and more into contact with HR systems. The more I learnt about HR technology, the more interested I became in the opportunities it offers. I am happy that this interest and my drive to constantly learn have been recognised and led me to my current position. ❓ How would you describe your current job? I collect and review the HR IT needs from around the world and find out how to meet those needs when it comes to digital solutions. Let's say I'm a translator between the business needs and the IT requirements. ❓ Do you have any hobbies you would like to tell us about? Ever since I was a kid I was a really big book lover! When I need to relax and depressurize, I pick up a book. They're like great friends. ❓ What parts of your character are you particularly proud of? If I could label myself with three or four words, it would be curious, open minded, hardworking and humorous. Apprentices at DRÄXLMAIER can take part in the ‘Training worldwide’ programme. This gives them the opportunity to spend eight weeks at a company location outside the EU and get to know the work, the people and the local culture at first hand. Karolin, Moritz and Frank flew to Shenyang in China and talk about their experiences. 🇨🇳 The work on site was very varied and informative. While Karolin, a prospective IT specialist, was able to get to know many other departments outside her IT team, Moritz, a prospective mechatronics engineer, discovered new product types and production methods. Frank, a prospective technical product designer, had the opportunity to visit other sites in the neighbourhood. The three trainees also mastered challenges such as road traffic and the sometimes difficult communication. In their free time, they explored cities and sights and enjoyed Chinese cuisine and culture. 🤩 After their stay abroad, Karolin, Moritz and Frank agree: the eight weeks in China were a great experience and they can only recommend the programme to others! 🌍 #wecreatecharacter

Aleksandra is a process engineer at our Polish #DRÄXLMAIER site in Jelenia Góra. Today, we talk to her about her job, her hobbies, and what she is particularly proud of. 🤩 ❓ What do you do in your job? I am responsible for optimizing processes and implementing projects. I started my career at DRÄXLMAIER nine years ago in Industrial Engineering and am now a Senior Technologist. Currently, I work with a six-member team that creates cutting and sewing patterns for door panels and dashboards. ❓ What do you enjoy most about your job? I love the challenges. Every day is interesting and never boring. Finding solutions and knowing that I have done my job well makes me happy. ❓ Your favorite hobby? I have a passion for cooking and baking. I often bring my cake creations to work, which always delights my colleagues! Bringing joy and pleasure to others is truly a great pleasure for me. ❓ Which of your qualities are you particularly proud of? Having the courage to express my own opinion. I believe that all opinions should be respected. DRÄXLMAIER gives me the opportunity to do this by allowing me to present my arguments.
