𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝟮𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 🌐 https://lnkd.in/ebVdt5Sc 💠 Insight into Regensburg´s automotive innovation ecosystem💠 👉 The kick-off of the new Drive2Transform project took place on 6 and 7 June at the TechBase in Regensburg. Nine project partnersfrom eight Central European countries, all of whom have many years of experience in the automotive industry, met to define the work packages for the next two years and to gain an insight into the Regensburg automotive innovation ecosystem. ⏩ While the most important points like responsibilities and timetables of the respective work packages were discussed on the first day of the kick-off, the second day focussed on getting to know regional players. ⏩ Friday started with a presentation of Philipp Berr, city of Regensburg, department economy, clusters and technologies, about the Regensburg innovation ecosystem. Practical insights could then be gained during the "The Innovation walk" that started with a guided TechBase Tour (Innovation center) by Alexander Rupprecht, CEO of R-Tech GmbH, and had its finish at the "Start-Up-Garage" of Bertrandt Technology GmbH. ⏩ This was followed by a visit to the Electromobility & Powertrain laboratory at OTH Regensburg by Nesti Haxha, Lead Hardware of the Formula Student Team DYNAMICS e.V.  A business picnic on the second day rounded off a successful kick-off in Regensburg.  During the two days, the project partners had many opportunities to get to know each other personally and to network. ➡ We are looking forward to the coming project period! 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝟮𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 💠 transformation of the automotive industry 💠 🌐 https://lnkd.in/emBm6vAk ⏩ Drive2Transform is a 2.5-year European project that seeks to assist businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in navigating the changes brought about by the transformation of the automotive industry in the four thematic focus areas of connectivity, electrification, automation, and platform economy, with the ultimate goal of safeguarding Europe's market dominance. ⏩ On October 16th and 17th, 2024, the transnational workshop for the Drive2Transform project took place in Pilsen, Czech Republic. This hybrid meeting (in-person and online) brought together project partners from nine regions to analyze the results of a survey conducted among companies and Business Support Organizations (BSOs) in the automotive industry. ⏩ The workshop kicked off with insightful presentations on the Pilsen region's innovation ecosystem, led by hosts Filip Uhlík and Filip Tikal. Each participating region then presented its regional analysis based on the survey results, offering valuable insights into the specific challenges and strengths of their respective areas. ⏩ A key focus of the workshop was the transnational analysis of the survey results. This analysis highlighted the differences and commonalities between regions across the key areas of Electrification, Automation, Connectivity, and Platform Economy. Dr. Nadya Zhexembayeva je udeležence spodbudila k razmišljanju o 🆕reinvenciji💡, v okrogli mizi pa so Matjaz Cemazar, Radovan Bolko, dr.Marjan Pogacnik in @Marko Golob izpostavili svoje ideje za dvig konkurenčnosti: 🎤dvig produktivnosti podpornih procesov, inoviranje s komercialnim učinkom, večja hitrost odločanja v podjetju in državi ter več poguma in tveganih naložb.

Electrification, automation and new business models characterize the transformation of the industry. The “Drive2Transform” project offers small and medium-sized enterprises concrete regional and transnational measures to actively shape the technological and market transformation. 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 is the lead partner in the almost 1.8 million euro project, which is funded by the EU Commission. ⏩ “Drive2Transform” aims to better network regional companies from the automotive and supplier industry through cooperation with other European partners, to exchange knowledge and to make them internationally competitive. The nine project partners come from eight Central European countries. They all have many years of experience in the automotive industry and are familiar with both the regional players and the current challenges in this sector. ⏩ “The central element of the cross-regional strategy of Drive2Transform is the Transnational Automotive Open Transformation Platform,” explains Uwe Pfeil, Manager of the Cluster Mobility & Logistics based at TechBase Regensburg. “We use this platform to provide proposed solutions that are tailored to the specific needs and challenges of the individual regions.” Among other things, this also includes further training courses focusing on the activities and skills requirements in the automotive industry, which will change in the course of the transformation. ➡ “Drive2Transform” was launched at the beginning of June 2024 and will run until the end of 2026. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union.
