EBBD GRACE project update 28-30 January 2025 Brussels Just across from the European Parliament at Neth-ER (Netherlands house for Education and Research), the project team came together for the second projectmeeting of EBBD GRACE. Some insights of what has been done: 📍 research instruments finalised: Thanks to the workpackage coordinators and the contribution and commitment of all  project team members the research instruments ( topics sustainability and (micro) credentials) were validated and finalised. 💡 learned (a lot!) from experts. In the field of VET and Green Transition, micro credentials and the challenges in defining learning outcomes and current developments in the Brussels. Thanks to all experts for having insightful discussions and giving us valuable feedback and perspectives to further strengthen the project and its results. 🧩 worked constructively together throughout the days and explored the Scaffold method. A method to design competence oriented learning experiences, using the different European competence frameworks, such as GreenComp. We have become so excited about this method, that we decided to use this in the EBBD training April 2025! Special thanks go out to: Anastasia Pouliou, expert in qualifications and credentials at Cedefop! Thank you Anastasia for your support, your enthusiasm and the sharing of highly relevant insights, research and expertise on micro credentials and learning outcomes in a European context. We will definitely keep you updated and stay in touch. Thank you Tim van Rie for updating us on the working group VET and the Green transition and linking us to the publications relevant for the project. Thank you Marleen Stumpel, Stefano Tirati and Carlo Stefano Cavicchioli for taking time for the project team, to support us with your expertise, we will definitely get back to you for a follow-up session. Welcome Lycée Charles Peguy à Gorges to the EBBD network! We are thrilled to announce that Lycée Charles Peguy à Gorges is now formally accredited as EBBD college. The first French college in the network! Thanks to this future pupils of Lycée Charles Peguy à Gorges will be offered the opportunity to develop extensive additional (transversal) skills and competences in the field business, Europe and internationalisation. These will be graduates that go the extra mile, look beyond borders with an open mind and are well equipped for the labour market. Thanks Helene Arretgros and Peter Ketelaars for taking the initiative of introducing to introduce EBBD to the college! La reunión inicial se ha celebrado en Arnhem del 21 al 23 de octubre de 2024 en Rijn IJssel. En esta jornada se ha contado con el apoyo de Paolo Nardi, Ulrike Pisiotis y Eszter Salamon quienes brindaron elementos muy relevantes en los que pensar para trabajar en los próximos pasos necesarios en este proyecto. 'Rollenspel in het Europees Parlement in Brussel' De eerstejaars studenten International Studies van #rijnijssel kropen in de rol van Europarlementariër door het spelen van het rollenspel in het #parlementarium. Ze ervoeren hoe wetgeving tot stand komt in de EU en hoe dat gaat met 27 lidstaten en 24 officiële talen. Dat is een spel van geven en nemen en vooral de lange adem. Een nuttige dag in het hart van de Europese democratie voor studenten van #EPAS, mede dankzij mijn collega's Marcel Derks, Emma Kooman, Jurjan van Olphen en Adriana Martinez. #ditismbo #businessschoolrijnijssel EBBD 'Role play in the European Parliament in Brussels' The first-year students of International Studies from #rijnijssel took on the role of a Member of the European Parliament by playing a role in the #parliamentarium. They experienced how legislation is created in the EU and how that works with 27 member states and 24 official languages. That is a game of give and take and especially compromise. A useful day at the heart of European democracy for students of #EPAS and EBBD

We are ready for it! This year marks the 10th edition of the Cross-Cultural Event, organized by the International Business Studies program of Albeda. We are excited to welcome 40 international students from 8 European countries, alongside 10 Dutch students, for a unique opportunity to engage in cultural exchange and collaboration. This event offers an exciting platform to explore diverse perspectives, foster global networks, and enhance our understanding of international business in a dynamic and interactive setting. We can’t wait to see the creativity and innovation that will emerge as students from different backgrounds come together to share ideas, experiences, and build lasting connections. Kick-Off EBBD GRACE in Arnhem Erasmus+ KA220 Cooperation Partnership on the topics of Sustainability and Credentials Empowering Students for a Sustainable Future and providing recognition of acquired skills and competences. The project’s journey began with a kick-off meeting of project partners in Arnhem 21-23 October 2024 at Rijn IJssel. Paolo Nardi, Ulrike Pisiotis and Eszter Salamon supported and inspired us and gave us highly relevant food for thought to work on the next steps needed in this project. A special thanks to Sylwia Kalota, Eva Dalhoff and Gabriele Tomasitz-Möseneder who joined us as associated partners, from Poland Denmark and Austria. Thanks for your support and contrubution, the project results will have a wider European perspective. Rijn IJssel launches Erasmus+ project on sustainability 🌱 Rijn IJssel is proud to be part of the Erasmus+ | Onderwijs & Training project EBBD GRACE! This initiative helps students in our International Business programs develop crucial sustainability skills and earn micro-credentials, boosting their chances on the job market. 🗨️ "We're excited to make the EBBD certificate more sustainable and inclusive," says our project leader Cynthia Woolderink.
