High-Level Visit: Robert Habeck at eleQtron in Siegen 🚀 We were honored to host Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economic Affairs, Robert Habeck, at eleQtron’s headquarters in Siegen. His visit underscores the pivotal role that quantum computing and DeepTech startups like eleQtron play in shaping the future of Germany’s technological and startup landscape. During his visit, Minister Habeck engaged in deep discussions with our founders Prof. Dr. Christof Wunderlich, Dr. Michael Johanning, and Jan Henrik Leisse, focusing on the development of research-driven startups, their financial sustainability, and the current challenges they face. Such high-level recognition reflects eleQtron’s status as Germany’s premier quantum computer manufacturer and highlights the strategic importance of quantum technologies in securing economic significance in the years to come. Jan Leisse, Co-Founder and CEO of eleQtron, emphasized the importance of support from the government, stating, "It's a great honor to have Vice Chancellor Habeck visit us. His initiatives for the startup scene, especially in high technologies, are crucial for driving development in Germany and of Europe." 🚀 To new collaborative horizons: We're excited to announce that we recently had the privilege of welcoming Enrique Solano, Benedict Wenzel, and Murilo Oliveira from Kipu Quantum for a workshop at our Headquarters in Siegen. This is an important step to foster collaboration in the field of #quantumcomputing. KIPU is a worldwide leading company providing hardware- and application-specific quantum computing solutions, poised to reach quantum advantage for industrial applications soon. We kicked off the session with an overview of our tech and strategic plans. We showed off our state-of-the-art #MAGIC technology, our plans for getting it out there, what we’ve been working on, and some of our major wins. KIPU introduced us to   their software and algorithms and talked about their approach to hybrid digital-analog quantum computing and various use cases. We discussed the potential for lots of #collaboration that could really boost our capabilities and impact. We all agree that we need a smart and dedicated strategy to achieve a quantum advantage. To stay competitive globally, co-development of hardware and software is essential. We'd like to thank the KIPU team for their insights and open discussions. It was great to see such a positive exchange of ideas, and we're excited to continue our conversations soon. 🌊 Team Building on the High Seas: eleQtron's sailing adventure! 🌊    Once again, we set sail for an unforgettable team building trip! With a crew of about 18 different nationalities, it was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our bonds and learn from each other in a dynamic environment. Special activities included:    Sailing Race ⛵: Teams competed in an exciting race across the waves. Congratulations to the winning team who took home a well-deserved trophy! 🏆    Cook-off Challenge 🍜: In the evening, teams put their culinary skills to the test by cooking dinner. The competition was fierce but friendly, with the whole team choosing the best dish at the end. Hats off to the winners for delighting our taste buds! 😋    Sailing training: Beginners learned the basics of sailing, while more experienced sailors took part in capsize training, turning potential adversity into a skill-building challenge. ❤️    This time together was more than just fun; it was a chance to see the strength of our diverse team in action, working together and supporting each other. At #eleQtron we believe that such experiences not only build stronger teams, but also foster innovation and creativity. 🚀    Thank you to everyone who participated and made this trip a memorable one. Our team leads left the #quantum realm for three days to attend a #leadership training workshop.     To be honest, it was an intense and challenging excursion into another world – and a very important one too. Only as a team will we be able to succeed and build the #ZukunftofQuantum.      The training tackled questions like: How do you organize and design a company to be productive, coordinated, efficient and economical? How do you create a workplace that everyone wants to come to every day? AND: How do you merge the mindsets of #science and #business? eleQtron at #Q-EXPO – an excellent opportunity for a very focused and select connection to leading emerging technologies suppliers and end users critical to building quantum computing systems. 🚀    Our colleagues Tim Leonhardt (Business Development Manager) and Sriram Hariharan (Project Manager) took advantage of this opportunity at Q-EXPO in Amsterdam to connect with key suppliers and end users with in depth knowledge on technical requirements important to the design of quantum computing systems. The event was organized by the EU Quantum Industry Consortium (#QuIC).    Our greatest interest lies in developing quantum computers that are both scalable and able to solve complex challenges, and a connection to key partners plays a significant role in this.
