📢 Understanding the Upcoming Construction Products Regulation (CPR) – Webinar Announcement with Christian Donath (ECO Platform) The Construction Products Regulation (CPR) ensures that construction products across the EU meet consistent safety, health, and environmental standards. With the upcoming change, publishing verified environmental data based on the EN15804 standard will become mandatory for all construction products sold in Europe (with a CE marking) over the next years. In early October the European Parliament gave the green light for the revised CPR (https://lnkd.in/ea--v6-v). In a recent conference by the EU Commission it was confirmed that the revised CPR will come into force by the end of the year and the phased implementation will start in 2025. 🌟 How does the CPR affect your business? From data collection to verified EPD within 4 weeks! 🚀 ‘I already had my LCA ready, but I was told that it would take at least 6 months to create, verify and publish the EPD. With Emidat, the whole process took 4 weeks and I can now flexibly add and edit my data in the tool so that I could publish more EPDs within a few days.’ As the Emidat EPD platform is already verified for the ready-mixed concrete product category, verified EPDs can be generated directly - eliminating the need for manual verification. This significantly shortens the entire process, and in this case it only took 4 weeks from first contact to publication with our partner EPD-Norway (EN15804 and CSC compliant). This is a decisive advantage for building material manufacturers who want to speed up their EPD process.
