Visitation in Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭 Early this week, our education team in APAC had the honor of hosting 3 visitors from Sri Lanka, Dr. Prasanna Gunasena, Dr. Dilshan Munidasa and Dr. Anil Kenneth Weerasin. Our visitors had the opportunity to observe Live Surgeries and to participate in Case Discussions at 3 different joimax® reference centers over 3 days. During the visit, Dr. Siravich Suvithayasiri, Dr. Warayos Trathitephun and Dr. Jackapol Kamolpak from Chulabhorn Hospital in Bangkok performed a TransSAP decompression and explained the importance and techniques of using crown reamer. Dr. Saran Jindahra and Dr. Chumpon Kakanan from Spine and Nerve Hospital introduced the visitors to an Endoscopic ULBD with over-the-top decompression and demonstrated a beautifully done en-bloc flavectomy. Dr. Akarawit Asawasaksakul and Dr. Abhirat Suepsing from Ramkhamhaeng Hospital performed a 3-level EndoLIF® with trans-facet approach using iLESSYS® Delta. Dr. Prasanna Gunasena, Dr. Dilshan Munidasa and Dr. Anil Kenneth Weerasinghe are very happy to be able to observe different endoscopic approaches. They are now ready to start their journey in endoscopic spine journey in Sri Lanka. During last weekend, the ESPINEA® Endoscopic Spine Academy Cadaver Workshop was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand 🇹🇭, achieving great success by showcasing both Uniportal and Biportal techniques. A total of 34 participants from Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand gathered at Chiang Mai University to advance their endoscopic skills.   The workshop seamlessly combined insightful lectures with hands-on cadaver sessions, expertly led by our skilled ESPINEA® faculty. Participants received in-depth training in uniportal interlaminar and transforaminal lumbar techniques, as well as Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy, leaving them well-prepared to implement these advanced procedures. Endoscopic assisted fusion with transfacet approach was also demostrated by Dr. Akarawit Asawasaksakul and Dr Siravich Suvithayasiri.   We extend our deepest gratitude to our esteemed faculty members from Malaysia and Thailand— Dr Azwa Noor, Suthipas Pongmanee, Dr. Akarawit Asawasaksakul, Dr. Abhirat Suepsing, Dr. Siravich Suvithayasiri, and Dr Preutthipan Pragthong.
