🎮 ERNC24: Where Worlds Collide - 30th October-1st November!🕹️ In just over three weeks time, the Esports Research Network Annual Conference will kick off at the University of Staffordshire London's Esports campus. This year's conference will bring: Expert keynotes 📚 Brett Abarbanel will discuss where we have been along the journey of gambling and gaming convergence internationally, calling on perspectives from esports, sports, and gambling.  Emma Witkowski will discuss local to global transformations in esports and how these intersect with traditional sports. Anna Baumann explore whether esports is still on the path to fulfilling its original, unifying vision or if the dream has become fractured. Industry panels 💡 Dr. Julia Hiltscher Michael O'Dell Graham Ashton and others will be talking about their personal histories in and around esports. John Jackson Luke Seagrove Graham Ashton Cameron Vanloo will be discussing balancing esports regulation and innovation. Expect lots of laughter, camaraderie, strategic thinking but no rage-quitting! Plus we have THREE DAYS of paper and poster presentations, covering a range of topics from esports governance and culture, inclusion and accessibility, collegiate and professional esports, health, injury and performance, cognition and esports psychology, gambling and cheating in esports, environmental sustainability, esports media and history, the future of mobile gaming... and many more!
