✨ The news is out! I'm one of the three recipient of the European Geosciences Union (EGU)'s Science Journalism Fellowship that is granting me to report on High Latitude Dust (HLD) primarily in Iceland 🇮🇸. Massive thanks to the jury, my editors, and the researchers who are letting me follow their projects, happening exactly right now in the South of Iceland (yes I jumped on the first flight)! Congrats to Tim Kalvelage and Laura Carrau, so curious to see their reportage and documentaries :) 🔗 https://lnkd.in/d-AqbTw4

I am very happy to announce that I am one of the three journalists selected for the European Geosciences Union (EGU)'s Science Journalism Grant, which allows me to follow with the documentary on the impact of salt intrusion on the River Gambia. Foremost, I want to thank the scientist Núria Catalán (CEAB-CSIC) for her blind trust in my way of building up scientific stories from scientists' work once again. Also to her colleagues in the Salbia project Miguel Cañedo-Argüelles Instituto de Diagnóstico Ambiental y Estudios del Agua (IDAEA-CSIC) Pablo Rodríguez (Universitat de les Illes Balears), and the rest of the amazing team, for letting me be one more of the crew and to be able to document their work in the field. And to the jury, to help science journalists by being able to explain science from the guts. I also want to congratulate Daniela De Lorenzo and Tim Kalvelage, I am curious to know about their projects. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/d-AqbTw4 Stay tuned for more news...
