EUSI

Just a few hours ago, we collected new satellite imagery of the floods around Valencia, Spain. These images are only a small sample of the extensive flooding damage that can be seen throughout hundreds of square kilometres collected today. In the 50 cm resolution images, you can see flooded roads, parks, fields, damaged infrastructure, damaged bridges and abandoned vehicles. We have provided the satellite imagery to emergency response services and will continue to monitor the situation. EUSI CEO Adrian Zevenbergen participated in a panel titled “Strategic Alliances: Industry Transformation through Space-Driven Synergies” at the Munich New Space Summit today. "Our ability to adapt and cooperate is why European intelligence and emergency response agencies now benefit from 15 minute Near Real-time imagery. Originally, driven by the demand within the maritime monitoring sector for rapid response data beyond what the industry could offer at the time, we’ve worked tirelessly cooperating with Maxar Technologies and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) on ground infrastructure and advanced workflows to get to this point. Adapting to market demands and valuing lasting partnerships have proven successful for EUSI and in-turn the European EO industry for over two decades. " #MunichNewSpaceSummit #SpaceTechnologies #EU

When needed, we can provide both SAR and Optical imagery in Near Real Time: ⏳ up to 15 minutes after collection for Optical imagery ⏳ up to one hour for SAR This is a huge benefit especially for emergency response and intelligence related operations, where the speed of delivery is crucial. #DoubleShot #SAR #emergencyresponse #geoint Optical imagery © 2024 Maxar Technologies Provided by European Space Imaging | SAR imagery © 2024 Umbra Provided by European Space Imaging

Maxar WorldView Legion triples our overall capacity over high demand areas, and our capacity to cover 30 cm class imagery. That’s great news for defence customers. Satellite imagery with this level of clarity allows analysts to see vehicle types, personnel activities, individual plants and building/infrastructure construction details. It’s perfect for: ✅ identifying vehicles ✅ monitoring critical infrastructure ✅ small feature identification ✅ mission mapping ✅ locating combatants ✅ damage analysis #military #defence #defencetechnology #geospatialintelligence #geoint Satellite imagery © 2024 Maxar Technologies Provided by European Space Imaging #safetyandsecurity #defenceindustry #defence #army

EUSI CEO Adrian Zevenbergen just finished speaking at the 4th #EuropeanSecurityConference. Flexibility is a crucial driver towards innovation and achieving collective goals. A great example is how our Near Real-Time (NRT) data delivery was developed and improved over the past 12 years in direct response to European maritime monitoring requirements. Now EU intelligence agencies benefit from the fastest Very High Resolution (VHR) satellite image delivery in the world — as fast as 15 minutes after collection. ⚡ #GEOINT #EDIS #EuropeanDefenceConference

VHR satellite images can be used in workflows utilising AI to automatically detect and analyse changes. This rapidly growing technology offers “off-the-shelf” solutions for a number of applications including infrastructure asset monitoring. 👉 The ability to remotely monitor Third Party Encroachment (TPE) along energy corridors with a high level of detail, accuracy and automation saves asset managers precious time and resources when organising on-site inspections. #assetmanagement #assetprotection #assetmanagers #energy Satellite imagery © 2024 Maxar Technologies Provided by European Space Imaging

The revisit rate of the Maxar constellation will significantly increase once all six WorldView Legion satellites are in operation. With the combination of sun-sync and mid-inclination orbits, the constellation will provide full daytime coverage, full latitude coverage, and concentrated access and capacity to high-demand regions. This leads to: 🔹 higher access rates with fewer tasking conflicts in high-demand regions 🔹 higher flexibility to weather conditions 🔹 significant increase in 30 cm and 8 band opportunities 🔹 rapidly growing archive Want to know more? 👉 Watch the recording of our webinar about what the launch of WorldView Legion means for European EA applications: https://lnkd.in/dTiXmfeP #maxar #worldviewlegion #spacetechnology #satelliteimagery #geospatialdata
