In a little less than a year, we've gone from an incredibly complex technological concept to incredible achievements! 🚨 We've made it to Stage 2 of SPRIND's Circular Biomanufacturing Challenge! EveryCarbon's solution to use different mixed-material biowastes for the production of bulk chemical products has secured our place in the next stage of the competition. We are proud of and thankful for the support and acknowledgement. And of course, the hefty funding of 2 Mio. € that comes with it. We will use this to lift EveryCarbon out of the lab and into the real world. More about our journey, our dreams and our plans to get there in the next week. TODAY WE CELEBRATE! 🧨 A big thank you to our incredible team, all our partners, SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen, and the CBM jury. Huge congratulations to all the other teams that started with us in this challenge. You're all doing so well! 𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿-𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟮! Inspired by the iconic science-fiction 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘬 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 — we’re transforming waste into value with scalable, biomanufacturing solutions! 🔎 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟭 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 8 incredible teams embarked on a journey to valorize three different waste streams, complete 60 days of continuous fermentation, and produce commodity materials along the way. They faced challenges like exploding hardware and clogged pipes, but also made many serendipitous discoveries! The competition was fierce and the jury had to make a difficult decision. We're thrilled to announce that 6 teams have advanced to Stage 2. Congratulations, AmphiStar, Quantum Leap, EveryCarbon, C3 Biotech, MATERI 8 and BioTreasure! 🚀 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁? Striving to reach 180 days of continuous biomanufacturing. Moving towards a closed cradle-to-grave system. The teams are inspired by the BASF slogan, we’re not making a lot of the products you buy, but we're making a lot of them better with biology! 🌍 The future looks bright as we 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴! https://lnkd.in/eGAB-pEU #Biomanufacturing #Innovation #StarTrek Patrick P.
