How do you balance these two different fields in your daily tasks? 👤 Although the fields are different the role is synergetic, understanding the market allows me to better understand chemistry and vice-versa, at the end of the day they feel like one simultaneous thing. 🎤 Can you tell us more about your role in analyzing competitors and suppliers? How does your background in chemical engineering help you in this task? 👤 My main job is finding clients and competitors through imports and mapping them, having knowledge in chemistry is important because it allows you to correctly guess the specific use for silica in a market. 🎤 In what ways has your internship at Evonik helped you develop skills beyond chemical engineering? 👤 Besides the newfound understanding in silica, testing my language skills, excel and PowerBI usage, I can say I learned a lot in a very short time, and all these skills will for sure benefit my future. 🎤 Looking back at your journey at Evonik, what advice would you give to other chemical engineering students? 👤 The advice would be to not constrain yourself; chemistry is about change and if you only see one option, you are missing the bigger picture. #PartofSomethingSpecial #Evonik #LeadingBeyondChemistry #StudentsAtEvonik

🔋 The demand for clean energy is accelerating, with hydrogen positioned as a promising solution to meet growing energy needs. Demand for clean hydrogen is projected to increase to between 125-585 million tons per annum [Mtpa] by 2050 – accounting for 73-100% of total hydrogen demand. And by 2026, nearly all new hydrogen production coming online is expected to be clean hydrogen. But for direct use in the chemical industry, or to see cross-border trading of hydrogen, ammonia is essential. And to convert ammonia to hydrogen, you need ammonia cracking.
