We successfully made contact with FireSat Protoflight immediately in our first pass about 30 minutes after separation and downlinked health-and-safety telemetry which all looks great. It had successfully deployed its solar arrays and has now completed detumbling. All systems are nominal as we enter full spacecraft commissioning over the next few days. This first satellite in the FireSat constellation, features a cutting-edge six-channel multispectral infrared instrument designed to transform global wildfire detection and response. Once complete, our constellation will provide global coverage, with each point on Earth observed every 20 minutes. Developed in collaboration with Earth Fire Alliance and supported by EDF, the Moore Foundation, and others, FireSat will deliver critical fire intelligence to first responders, policymakers, and communities. With three more satellites launching in 2026 and full operational capacity expected by 2030, FireSat represents a breakthrough in wildfire response and management technology. Mission accomplished! 🎉 We are thrilled to announce that Startical, a company created by ENAIRE and Indra to optimize air traffic management from space, has successfully launched its first satellite, the IOD-1. This milestone represents a key step in the ECHOES project, funded by the European Union with support from SESAR Joint Undertaking, which aims to enhance ATM with innovative satellite-based solutions. Congratulations to Startical as well as GomSpace and Exolaunch, for making this achievement possible. Now, the in-orbit validation phase begins. YAM-8 is talking! We have successfully made contact with the satellite and have begun sending commands and downlinking telemetry. All systems are nominal. We’ll continue commissioning YAM-8 over the next several weeks and begin commissioning customer payloads shortly thereafter – stay tuned for more updates soon! A huge thank you to Exolaunch and SpaceX for a flawless deployment. Our world-class launch partners continue to set our missions up for success. With Transporter-13, we supported 27 satellites for our customers across the globe, advancing Earth observation, communications, and scientific research. Every spacecraft we deploy carries a mission, a vision, and the hard work of the people behind it. Reaching 500 satellite deployments is a testament to the trust our customers place in us and the dedication of the team that makes it happen. And we’re just getting started!
