🚀 10 Days Until the #FallingWallsVenture Pitches! We are excited to connect our winning science start-ups with venture capitalists to secure funding for their breakthrough ideas. Falling Walls Venture is helping these innovators transition from the lab to the market. One of our valued partners, Boehringer Ingelheim, has been instrumental in supporting several Falling Walls Venture winners. Simon Ittig, Co-Founder and CEO of T3 Pharmaceuticals AG, pitched on the Falling Walls Venture stage in 2018 and was awarded the Science Breakthrough of the Year in the Science Start-ups category. Following initial investments and ongoing support from the Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, T3 Pharma was acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim in 2023. Their innovative cancer therapy platform harnesses the natural behaviours of live bacteria and is now undergoing clinical studies. 🎥 Watch their success story here: https://lnkd.in/dVx9xa-K We are continually impressed by the achievements of our alumni. Falling Walls Ventures supports science-based start-ups that disrupt industries and tackle today’s most pressing challenges. This year, we look forward to welcoming Frank Kalkbrenner, Director of Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, back to our pitch competition as a member of the Falling Walls Venture jury. We value this long-standing partnership and anticipate new collaborations emerging from this year’s Science Summit! 📅 Don’t miss the Pitch Day on 7 November at the #FallingWalls #ScienceSummit24, where groundbreaking companies across various industries will showcase their innovative solutions for a chance to become the Science Breakthrough of the Year 2024 in the Science Start-Ups category. 👉 For the full programme, visit: https://lnkd.in/dKdxPsHA Join us on this exciting journey! #FallingWallsScienceSummit
