A glimpse into the past - The Fendt F12 GT Fendt marked another milestone in tractor development in 1953 with the introduction of the Fendt F12 GT. This model allowed farmers to fit up to three implements to their Fendt tractor; an innovative solution that was awarded a DLG medal for its one-man system. The excellent visibility of the Fendt F12 GT made it possible to combine fertilizer spreader, seed drill and seed harrow in a single pass. The Fendt implement carriers were not only a time saver at the time, but also a cost saver for expensive labor. The work could be done without interruptions and without excessive effort, which significantly increased efficiency in the field. One clear advantage Fendt had over the competition was the short changeover time for the various attachments, which underlined the flexibility and versatility of Fendt tractors. Despite its sophisticated design, the production of the Fendt F12 GT was discontinued as changes in agriculture led to ever larger farms and a need for larger machines. Although the one-man system was well thought out, it was too underpowered to be used on large farms. Insights into Smart Farming: FendtONE offboard 💡💻 With FendtONE, farmers can easily combine work in the office with activities in the field and digitise their farm. To make this easy and convenient, FendtONE is made up of two components: FendtONE onboard: The convenient driver's workstation on the Fendt machine, which helps to keep an eye on all work processes at all times with its large number of display panels. FendtONE offboard: The software for everyday office life, with which the planning and organisation of the farm can be controlled from the office. This gives a digital overview of all fields and machines. Asked about the features of the latter, Fendt customer Tim Satzger mentions:  "FendtONE offboard is innovative, helpful and simple." 🧑🌾 Tim Satzger is 18 years old and runs a family farm in Southern Germany. 📡 Fendt is part of FieldDataSync 👩💻👨💻 The innovative FieldDataSync research project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the German Federal Agency for Food and Agriculture has officially started. The aim of this pioneering project with participation of Fendt is to develop a manufacturer-independent, wireless communication solution for agricultural machinery that does not require an internet connection. The consortium consists of: 🟢 Technical University of Munich (TUM) 🟢 HTW des Saarlandes (HTW Saar) 🟢 Fendt 🟢 LACOS | LACOS AgSystems 🟢 OSB connagtive GmbH 🟢 digisaar The funding confirmation was handed over by Cem Özdemir (Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture) at the Grüne Woche Berlin, where Manja Morawitz (Fendt) accepted the certificate on behalf of the 5 partners. TSW 2025 in Poland – the Fendt 200 V/F/P Vario shows its strengths in the fruit and vegetable industry! 💚 Last week, the Polish Fendt sales partner Raiffeisen Waren presented the Fendt 200 V/F/P Vario series at TSW in Kielce, the largest industry event for fruit and vegetable producers in Poland, Central and Eastern Europe. Fendt at Grüne Woche in Berlin Fendt was once again present at the annual Grüne Woche in Berlin, which took place 17 to 26 January. As a highlight, visitors were able to take a closer look at the Fendt e100 Vario, which Fendt presented to the public in September 2024. 🔋 As second model of the Fendt electric tractor series, the Fendt e100 Vario is an elementary aspect of the consistent orientation towards the future and opens up new possibilities for use, for example in vegetable growing.  Numerous discussions at the stand once again confirmed the great interest in innovative solutions from the brand Fendt. 💡💚 As one of the largest trade fairs for the agricultural and food industry, Grüne Woche also offers a platform for the exchange between industry, associations, agriculture and the public. Christoph Gröblinghoff, Chairman of the Fendt Management Board, also took part in an exchange organized by the VDMA. 🎤 Together with members of the Bundestag and representatives of agricultural technology, he discussed the future of alternative drive technologies.
