Simon says: Family Day & Summit 2024 - it’s a wrap! 🎬   🚀 We had the pleasure of hosting 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 and subsequent 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 in #Düsseldorf two weeks ago. A huge 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to everyone who joined us and made it truly special!   𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟏: 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬   🥐 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳: We started the day with our investors at Cloud Kitchen, whose owner demonstrated how they use the innovative organization and efficiency software of Ordio. David and Constantin took us through their inspiring journey, their vision and shared the exciting road ahead.   🦀 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Next up was a live cooking session led by Pau from Pacifico Biolabs, who wowed us with their cutting-edge alternative meat and fish products. With their meat 3.0, the team around Zac and Washington presented a huge innovation towards the development of the next generation of white meat. Their products are not only nutritious, clean, and planet friendly, but convince with an exceptional flavor and texture.     📈 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 and 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: Thereafter, we started the presentation block with an interesting market panel with Jan Sessenhausen from Cusp Capital and Florian Heinemann from Project A, who discussed perspectives on current developments in the venture ecosystem in Germany and Europe. We then shared our portfolio updates, celebrated the year’s successes, and presented key portfolio companies to our investors.   𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟐: 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤   In the evening, we had our broader network joining, including a selected group of founders, Mittelstands partners, family offices and fellow investors.   🎤 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲: On our summit stage, we had an insightful discussion around similarities and differences between Mathias from HOLY and Martin from waterdrop®, both visionary founders disrupting the beverage industry with healthier, sustainable solutions. Alessandro gave an update on O.C. HAIRSYSTEMS, who offer a solution to the widespread and incurable problem of hair loss with their modern hair systems. After Constantin and David presented Ordio to the broader audience, Bas from Neople made AI tangible with their digital co-workers, showcasing the future of customer service.   🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲: We wrapped up the day in style with a barbecue!
