MAGNOTHERM is on a mission to transform the cooling industry with its revolutionary magnetic cooling technology. Unlike conventional gas-compression refrigerators that rely on harmful refrigerants, MAGNOTHERM’s POLARIS beverage cooler leverages the magnetocaloric effect to provide a sustainable and energy-efficient alternative. To bring this cutting-edge solution to life, the team turned to Forward AM’s Ultracur3D® RG 1100 B resin, utilizing Creality 3D printers for both prototyping and end-use components.

When design skills merge with great technologies and great materials, everything is possible. A big piece from New Digital Craft GmbH printed with BigRep - Large-Format 3D Printers and Forward AM’s filament.
Flashback Tuesday! 🚀 A few years ago, we brought this "Wall Dividing Screen Panel" to life for the BASF Forward AM Booth at Formnext 2021 — I still get a smile looking at it today. Love the depth and volume of this XXL lattice structure. Now, seeing it proudly installed in my studio, it continues to spark inspiration and remind me of the energy we poured into this project. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team who made this journey so special: Sufyan Rasheed, Anke Johannes, Robin Adler… and everyone else who was part of this adventure. Hope you’re all doing great! #sustainable #bioscreen #biopolymer #circular #innovation #3DPrinting #Formnext #Throwback #ProudMoment #interiordesign #design #architecture #ndc #newdigitalcraft #forwardam BigRep - Large-Format 3D Printers IAM3DHUB

Augo® is a digitally produced 3D printed socket developed by the Invent Medical. Leveraging modern technologies like 3D scanning and 3D printing, Invent Medical creates trans-tibial (TT) prosthetics that are tailored to each patient’s anatomy. The process begins with a precise 3D scan of the patient’s limb, followed by the design customization and 3D printing of the socket by O&P specialists. This combination of 3D scanning and additive manufacturing significantly reduces production time while allowing for fully optimized fit, design, and weight. The Augo® socket incorporates two advanced materials: Forward AM’s TPU for the soft brim and HP PA12 for the rigid body, postprocessed with our special coating. The result is a lightweight, robust socket that prioritizes both comfort and long-term wearability. Read more about it: https://lnkd.in/eu4XMZqb

VentoStream AG wants to make a decisive contribution to the environmentally-friendly energy supply of the future. Inspired by turbine-powered aircraft, the Swiss startup has developed a new type of wind turbine called the #Tornado that generates significantly more power than conventional, propeller-style units. VentoStream used Forward AM’s Ultrafuse® PAHT CF15 and Bambu Lab's X1C to 3D print parts that are both strong and lightweight. This high-performance polyamide contains 15% carbon fiber and resists UV light, aging, outdoor temperatures, and weather. It’s also ESD safe and supports the prototyping and production of complex parts with geometries, such as lattices, that traditional manufacturing can’t achieve. By integrating #AdditiveManufacturing from day one, MAGNOTHERM enables rapid in-house prototyping while laying the groundwork for end-use part production. This approach exemplifies how modern #hardware companies can stay flexible and resilient while accelerating their speed-to-market for new products. MAGNOTHERM is a young and innovative company with world-leading expertise in permanent magnets and magnetic cooling. When evaluating additive manufacturing materials, MAGNOTHERM identified our Ultracur3D® RG 1100 B as the ideal resin for their prototypes and final parts. This rigid photopolymer delivered the strength, durability, and printability they needed. Initial tests confirmed the high mechanical performance and reliability promised in the data sheets. One of the most challenging parts to manufacture was the AMR component of the POLARIS system. With Creality 3D (CREALITY 3D Printers) and Ultracur3D® RG 1100 B, MAGNOTHERM successfully produced: ✅ Highly intricate fluid channels for efficient cooling liquid transport ✅ Integrated check valves to regulate cooling, simplifying assembly ✅ Durable, ethanol- and water-resistant structures for long-term operation Read more: https://lnkd.in/dyfAyG5C #AM #3DPrinting #Innovation #MagneticCooling #Ultracur3D #SpeedToMarket Abby Szklarski Kreckel Eric Schmälzle Marco Mattia Cristofori #MAGNOTHERM #ForwardAM VINOA Video Production
