Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT hat dies direkt geteilt
Hoher Besuch bei ATHENE: Stärkung der Cybersicherheitsforschung in Deutschland -- Heute hatten wir die Ehre, Bundesinnenministerin Nancy Faeser, die Wissenschafts- und Digitalminister Hessens, Timon Gremmels und Prof. Dr. Kristina Sinemus, sowie Claudia Plattner, Präsidentin des Bundesamtes für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI), bei ATHENE in Darmstadt zu begrüßen. Gemeinsam erhielten sie Einblicke in einige unserer aktuellen Forschungsprojekte und in innovative Trainingsmethoden, um die Cybersicherheit in Deutschland zu verbessern. Nach Diskussionen zu Internet-Sicherheit, kognitiver Sicherheit und aktiver Cyberabwehr erhielten die Besucher:innen in der ATHENE Cyber Range einen Eindruck, wie IT-Sicherheitsteams solche Angriffe erkennen und auf sie reagieren können. Das Cyber Range Team führte dazu die Gäste durch die Simulationen zweier im Sommer 2024 tatsächlich stattgefundener Angriffe.
