GCX GLOBAL ETHERNET For customers wanting to fully exploit the inherent flexibility, scalability, security and simplicity of Ethernet, GCX offers Global Ethernet. Based on EoMPLS this service supports up to 3 CoS classes of service with point-to- point, point-to-multipoint and multi-point VPLS configurations and variations. Bandwidth is available in increments of 100 Mbps up to 100 Gbps, and billing can be provided as either flat-rate or usage-based. Highlights from the #IraqConnectSummit in Dubai Earlier this week, GCX had the privilege of attending the #IraqConnectSummit held in Dubai, an event centered on advancing telecommunications transit in Iraq. We were excited to participate in discussions with industry leaders and stakeholders, exploring how Iraq can leverage these strengths to establish itself as a prominent player in this critical sector. Asif Ghani presented GCX’s plans for the Data Centre project in Iraq, highlighting our commitment to infrastructure development in the region. Raid abu sabra along with Dr. Kassim AL-Hassani, participated in a panel discussion on "Iraq Market Status Update – Current Market Conditions/Future Projections/Opportunities, and Challenges," providing insights into the current landscape and future potential of Iraq's telecom sector. Dr. Kassim also joined another panel, discussing major project updates such as the 4th Mobile License, data center facilities, and IXP global connectivity. Our team had the honor of engaging with the Ministry of Communications and the ITPC in the esteemed presence of H.E. Dr. Hiyam Alyasiry. These interactions were invaluable in aligning efforts and driving mutual progress, particularly regarding key GCX initiatives, including our transit route (GET) through Iraq and Turkey. The summit, well-attended by the carrier and ICT community, provided a collaborative space for a series of productive bilateral meetings with our customers and partners, strengthening relationships and creating new opportunities. Neha has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, combining a blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership. She is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of women in tech through initiatives like the "Women in Technology" (W-in Tech) program, which she proudly leads within GCX.   “We are at the core of powering global commerce, innovation, and human interaction which is an incredible source of motivation. It drives us to strive for excellence, push boundaries, and create a better world”.   Neha works closely with the leadership team including Nadya Melic, Vineet Verma, Alexandra Campbell, Srinivas, Kvr Ravindra Bajpai   For anyone starting out on their career Neha’s advice would be to “stay curious, embrace challenges, and always look for opportunities to learn”.
