We are very proud that our subsidiary Heinemann Oceania's Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, making us the first travel retail operator in Australia to embark on a RAP. Under the RAP, Heinemann Oceania commits to establishing respectful ongoing relationships with First Nations peoples and stakeholders within its sphere of influence and local area, promoting positive race relations, increasing cultural learning among team members, and improving economic outcomes for First Nations peoples and communities. This important step towards reconciliation is a signifier of our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and an advancement of our vision of becoming the most human-centric company in travel retail. Heinemann Oceania is also proud to have commissioned an original artwork by Joanne Stanford, a proud Gamilaraay, Yuwaalaraay, Yuin and Wailwan Yinarr (Women in Gamilaraay) who currently resides on Dharug Country, to commemorate its RAP. 🚀 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭 🚀 We had the pleasure of traveling to Frankfurt with our Young Talent Community! Together with over 40 apprentices and dual students from Hamburg and 3 dual students from Berlin we spent two amazing days in Frankfurt exploring our Gebr. Heinemann business. Some highlights of the trip: 🌟Frankfurt Airport: Our adventure began with a bus tour of Frankfurt Airport, where we learned about the local air traffic operations and were warmly welcomed by Mario Klingbeil.✈️ 🌟Erlensee logistics center: Next, we headed to Erlensee, where we enjoyed refreshments and snacks before splitting into smaller groups for logistics tours. A big thank you to Daniel Vrba and his apprentices for the warm welcome and insightful tour.📦 🌟Dreissigacker winery in Bechtheim: On the second day we traveled to one of our suppliers, the Dreissigacker winery. With 90 participants, we were warmly greeted with a wine tasting session. We toured the winery in groups, learning about wine production, inspecting barrels, and asking questions. The Dreissigacker team made the experience truly memorable.🍇 A big thank you to everyone involved for this unforgettable experience! #YoungTalent #GebrHeinemann #HeinemannFamily #UnforgettableExperience

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 – 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬 The Heinemann team looks back on exciting and inspiring encounters and exchanges at the TFWA (Tax Free World Association) Conference in Cannes. One highlight of this overall amazing week was certainly the wonderful evening event with our B2B-customers. In keeping with the motto “One Group, One Vision, One Family”, we invited more than 650 guests to celebrate partnership at the Palais Stéphanie Beach, against the picturesque backdrop of the sea and under a starry sky. After a fantastic event last year, we were even able to exceed expectations this time by projecting a spectacular drone show directly into the sky, showing guests what is special about Gebr. Heinemann. Florian Seidel emphasized the importance of partnerships for shaping the future of travel retail: “Doing business with us means being part of a strong group of companies. We engage with our partners and we keep our promises. Regardless of the region or sales channel in which we operate, the basis of each of our partnerships is trust! What sets us apart is our customer centricity, no matter if it is the end-consumer we meet at the shop floor or our well-respected wholesale customers. To always give them our best, we all need to work closely together to offer the right, sophisticated and spectacular assortment – always and everywhere.” Watch the short video and dive into the atmosphere of this incredible night. #GHinCannes #TFWA #TravelRetail #HeinemannFamily #unforgettableexperience

𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐮𝐱𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 🤝✨  Copenhagen Airports A/S has a new and exciting shopping experience to offer: We opened our first Pre-Loved Luxury standalone boutique at an airport. On 20 square meters, travelers can find an exclusive selection of certified second-hand items, among them luxury bags. We have already introduced the concept successfully, for example on board several cruise ships, and are proud to expand it at Copenhagen Airport now. The concept will initially be tested there for the period of one year. There are various reasons why pre-loved products hold such a fascination for consumers, among them the desire for more individuality, a focus on sustainable consumption and increasing price sensitivity. Jan Richter, Director Purchasing FAWJ at Gebr. Heinemann, explains: “Due to their high quality, luxury products are characterized by a long life cycle and are therefore particularly interesting for the pre-loved market. In addition, special and unique pieces can be purchased that are hard to find, so it is also about the availability of certain luxury items.” Katrin Bamler, Managing Director at Gebr. Heinemann Retail ApS, highlights the importance of partnerships in order to realize such projects: “Heinemann stands for trusting partnerships at eye level, in which both sides share the successes as well as the risks and are prepared to try new things together. We have such a partner in Copenhagen Airport and are very grateful for the joint commitment to this project." #GebrHeinemann #spectacularassortment #unforgettableexperience #partnerships

𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚 🛍️🤩 We have successfully expanded the Main Shop Plaza in Terminal 1 at Flughafen Wien - Vienna Airport. The store has been enlarged from 1,200 m² to around 2,000 m² and now offers the largest travel retail experience in Austria. All in all, Heinemann Austria, managed by Roman Koch, has 9 stores with a total area of 4,800 m² at Vienna Airport.     😎🍰 Categories that are particularly popular, such as sunglasses, leather goods, sneakers and niche fragrances, will have more space. Also, regional products such as Mozartkugeln, Manner waffles, Original Sacher-Torte, Wiener Backstüberl, Landtmann's Original and Viennese wine can also be offered in an even larger selection.    🔴⚪️The store design is based on the market stalls at Vienna's Naschmarkt. Digital elements such as the Lift & Learn Wine Screen and a Scent Table offer a modern shopping experience. Particularly spectacular and a guaranteed eye-catcher: on the west side of the plaza is a video wall around 13 meters high and 7 meters wide. Various brands are staged on this wall in an immersive and eye-catching way.     Christoph Stump, Director Sales, emphasized on the occasion of the grand opening: "We are proud to be able to offer our customers an even wider and more exclusive range of products. The expansion of the store is an important step towards further improving the shopping experience at Vienna Airport. Our aim is to be a valuable travel companion for travelers and to surprise and inspire them again and again with our spectacular assortment." Julian Jäger, Joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport, added: “Vienna Airport recorded exceptional numbers this summer. With the growing traffic, it remains our goal to provide all travelers with a first-class experience and a pleasant stay. This also includes the continuous enhancement of the shopping offerings. The new duty-free shop has been very successful in this regard: more brand variety, a stronger regional assortment, more fashion and accessories, and a modern, inviting atmosphere. The reopening is another milestone in our long-standing, successful partnership with Gebr. Heinemann. It underscores our commitment to positioning Vienna Airport as a 5-star airport in the long term.”    For the full story see our press release: https://lnkd.in/gCQwEWQh #GebrHeinemann #heinemannfamily #travelretail #partnerships
