⛵️ #Barcolana56: was a spectacular celebration of sport, inclusion, and community. As the presenting sponsor of the Barcolana, we promote the values of inclusiveness in teams through the Generali Women in Sailing Trophy, a project born in 2019. For the fourth edition, the trophy was awarded to Giulia Leghissa and her team TOD - Anywave Junior. Congratulations for their well-deserved victory! This year, we launched a new research project in collaboration with Barcolana and carried out by SWG S.p.A., under the patronage of the FIV - Federazione Italiana Vela and World Sailing, dedicated to the topic of mixed teams in junior sailing. The research will lead to an innovative toolkit, created with input from sports psychologists and Women in Sailing Trophy winners, that will be made available to sailing clubs, athletes, and coaches to promote inclusion in young mixed teams. But for us, the Barcolana is also about community. At our Generali stand, in collaboration with The Human Safety Net, we held workshops for children and families, helping participants rediscover traditional games and the importance of reading. It was an opportunity for everyone to grow and share. Thank you to all participants and partners for making this edition unforgettable. We look forward to continuing this journey together! 🌍 World Mental Health Day 2024: It's Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace 🧠    At Generali, we recognize that mental health is a crucial component of overall well-being, and we are proud to mark World Mental Health Day 2024 by reaffirming our commitment to creating a supportive work environment. 🇮🇹 Oggi, The Human Safety Net e Generali Italia hanno presentato a Roma il nuovo programma della nostra Fondazione per i rifugiati, che mira a creare una nuova rete di professionisti della salute coinvolgendo enti del terzo settore, società di formazione, agenzie per l’impiego e aziende sanitarie pubbliche. Il progetto offrirà formazione e inserimento lavorativo a 300 rifugiati e migranti attualmente residenti in Italia e disposti a lavorare come operatori socio-sanitari (Asa e Oss) e assistenti domiciliari nelle regioni di Lombardia, Lazio ed Emilia Romagna. Questa iniziativa risponde alla crescente domanda di servizi di assistenza e cura personale, e alla necessità di integrazione a medio e lungo termine degli stranieri attraverso il lavoro, e concretizza l’impegno di Generali a essere un Cittadino Responsabile e sblocca il potenziale delle persone che vivono in circostanze vulnerabili, ottenendo un impatto sociale misurabile nelle nostre comunità. The project will offer training and job placement to 300 refugees and migrants currently living in Italy and willing to work as socio-medical operators (Asa and Oss) and caregivers in the regions of Lombardy, Lazio, and Emilia Romagna. This initiative responds to the growing demand for assistance and personal care services, and the need for medium- and long-term integration of foreigners through work.
