What we learned while lunchin’ with investor Adam Felesky 💡 In our latest Lunch & Learn, over 120 Clarkees welcomed Adam Felesky, CEO of Portage and Chairman of CLARK’s Supervisory Board. Adam has been part of CLARK’s journey since 2018. Today, Portage is one of our largest investors and has been a long-term partner in shaping our growth. Adam shared some invaluable insights into fintech and insurtech investments, leadership transitions, and scaling businesses—drawing from his own journey. Here are some of the key takeaways from the session: ➡️ Leadership matters—transitioning from the founders to a new management team is challenging, but the right team setup for the right stage can make all the difference. ➡️ AI is a game-changer not only for process optimization —from customer service AI to sales AI, technology is shaping how we engage with customers. ➡️ Customer centricity is key—having a great NPS and truly understanding customer needs will define long-term success in the insurtech space. ➡️ IInsurtechis evolving—there’s less competition in the market compared to 5 years ago, but strong players are scaling proven models. Companies are exploring AI integration, regulatory challenges, and new architectures to maximize efficiency and scalability. ➡️ Wearable technology is evolving, enabling deeper data extraction for underwriting and pricing. ➡️ Insurance products, pricing, and risk models are becoming more tailored to individual customers.
