    💙 It’s a match: Sales Convention and Beauty Day with #TeamDOUGLAS     Our DACH Team recently brought together 450 leaders from their region for our energetic sales convention and invited 1,500 Beauty Card customers from Düsseldorf to our very first Douglas Beauty Day. 💄 Both events took place with the participation of around 30 industry partners, who presented their top brands and provided us with a wide product portfolio. Attendees enjoyed a variety of innovative concepts designed to enhance the customer experience, including engaging digital and in-person interactions, insightful panel discussions and guided influencer tours. This collaboration allowed us to consolidate numerous activation initiatives across both events, creating valuable sales opportunities for our new financial year, the upcoming holiday season and beyond.    We would like to thank all our colleagues from our DACH team for organising these outstanding events. 👏🏼    #MakeLifeMoreBeautiful #SalesConvention #BeautyDay

Since releasing her debut album "Weißes Herz" in 2022, this 26-year-old sensation has built a loyal fanbase. In an exclusive cooperation with DOUGLAS, Ayliva launched her first fragrance “Schwarzes Herz by Ayliva” in February 2024 throughout the DACH region. Another major debut for her! Sold out in 1,5h, it’s the most successful influencer scent in record time – a huge testament to her fanbase. 🖤 During the last weeks, the singer was touring across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria with her "In Liebe, Ayliva" tour, and we joined her. Upon entry, every visitor received a "DOUGLAS x AYLIVA" bracelet, dusted with the "Schwarzes Herz" fragrance, along with an LED band. And the excitement didn't stop there! During her hit song "Lass mich gehen", all LED bands lit up in DOUGLAS’ signature mint, followed by a heartfelt video message featuring DOUGLAS and her new scent. The collaboration came about because we at DOUGLAS are always on the lookout for the latest trends and aims to connect with a younger audience. With Ayliva's rapidly growing reach and her passion for beauty and scents, it was a perfect match to create her own exclusive fragrance with Germany’s largest beauty retailer, DOUGLAS. Extending this partnership through the tour, we reached around 250.000 fans, allowing them to experience the fragrance firsthand and becoming the potential customers of tomorrow.

    𝗢'𝗭𝗮𝗽𝗳𝘁 𝗶𝘀 – 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗟𝗔𝗦 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 🥨 Right on time for the legendary keg tapping at the Munich Oktoberfest, we - together with CocoVero GmbH - invited 20 German content creators to celebrate the iconic event of the year with us. Alongside a gingerbread hearts and pretzels, the right styling is a must-have at the Wiesn. Therefore, we first invited our guests to the Rosewood Hotel in Munich, where, together with Giorgio Armani Beauty and Dyson, they could create the perfect Oktoberfest look. In the Beauty Lounge, there were not only beautiful spots for creating social media content but also a fabulous surprise "straight from Paris”: Lucien Laviscount. The actor from the hit series Emily in Paris was our special guest at our DOUGLAS event. Dressed in dreamy dirndls and stylish lederhosen from CocoVero GmbH, Lucien together with our amazing Social Team then proceeded with our huge iconic mint-colored DOUGLAS bags to the “Schützenfestzelt” on the Theresienwiese, where our guests were already celebrating. With events like these, we not only generate significant attention for DOUGLAS on-site and become the focal point of everyone’s eyes, but we achieve considerable media coverage, especially through our guests acting as multipliers. We create "Money Can't Buy Moments": through our mint-colored dirndls and the presence of Lucien, we have succeeded in generating top awareness for DOUGLAS. This strategic approach ensures that our brand presence extends far beyond the event itself, leveraging the reach and influence of our invited guests to create a wider impact in the media landscape.

    #TeamNOCIBÉ 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗮𝘆🌱 Around 40 of our dedicated colleagues from France recently embarked on a mission to Dunkerque in the country's northern region, armed with sacks and litter pickers. Their goal? To clean the beaches as part of #WorldCleanUpDay. Thanks to their incredible efforts, over 66kg of plastic, glass, and cigarette butts were collected, leaving the beaches more beautiful. But their journey didn’t end there. They also visited the city’s waste sorting center, aiming to raise awareness about waste sorting and understanding the limits of recycling. We at the DOUGLAS Group strongly believe that sustainability is more than just an one-day event – it's a continuous journey filled with both small and significant steps. We chose Dunkerque to highlight our dedication to ocean protection and our three-year partnership with the Plastic Bank. Over these years, we have already prevented the equivalent of more than 30 million plastic bottles from entering the ocean. Thank you to all our colleagues from NOCIBE who took part in the World Clean Up Day. Together, we can make a difference! 🙌🏻

    #TeamDOUGLAS rocking #DMEXCO2024 🚀 Full halls, exciting talks, and visionary ideas – DMEXCO 2024 was a blast! Of course, we joined the discussion on the hottest trends in E-Com and digital marketing, retail media, and artificial intelligence. We hope we have given you exciting insights into our business, latest innovations, and the DOUGLAS Group’s digital agenda. We certainly took home a lot of food for thought. 💡 A big thank you to the DMEXCO - Digital Marketing Expo & Conference team and the fantastic speakers from #TeamDOUGLAS: Philipp Andrée, Jessica Wegner, Lena Schütze, Nesma Abdel-Hamid, Yves Dupont, Yael Farkas, Jan Björn N., and Tatjana Zeitel.     𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 NOCIBE 💌  Within the last week, our colleagues in France, reopened three NOCIBE stores, after extensive modernization. We are absolutely thrilled: 👉 In the Aube region, our store in Saint-André-les-Vergers has been fully refurbished, just a few kilometers from our newly inaugurated store in Troyes, which opened recently. 👉 In the Yvelines region, the team at our Plaisir store welcomed customers into a newly renovated space within the Auchan Shopping Center. The store now boasts a fresh 200m² sales area and a beauty salon with two treatment rooms, much to the delight of our customers! 👉 In the Hauts-de-France region, our store at the V2 Shopping Center has been expanded to a sales area of 404m². It now features three treatment rooms and a comfortable lounge for our customers while they are waiting. At the DOUGLAS Group we are currently modernizing a number of our stores to improve the local in-store customer experience. This strategic optimization is a key component of our Group-wide ‘Let it Bloom – DOUGLAS 2026’ omnichannel strategy. Our new design concepts make the DOUGLAS brand come alive in a new way, while additional services and digital features ensure innovative and convenient beauty shopping. In combination with our online shop, we are creating a seamless, cross-channel shopping experience.  A big thank you to our amazing teams who made this possible! #TeamDOUGLAS

    𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿?💄🌱    Last week, our Head of ESG, Sarah Schlegel; discussed this question in a panel at the 3rd Sustainable Beauty Forum hosted by InventU Sustainable Care in Amsterdam. Sarah shared valuable insights on how the DOUGLAS Group is committed to driving transparency and sustainable change across our business and outlined our vision for a more responsible beauty industry.  One of our main focuses is on transparency and consumer guidance: We know that helping our customers make more informed, sustainable choices is crucial. With the rise of EU regulations against greenwashing, we’re dedicated to ensuring that sustainability is more than just a buzzword. Through our participation with the “EcoBeautyScore” Consortium, we're contributing to the development of a unified environmental label that at provides consumers with clear, trustworthy information about the products they purchase.   Packaging also plays a significant role, especially in the premium beauty sector where the emotional impact of packaging is undeniable. While we are integrating refill solutions across product lines, we recognize that this requires a shift in consumer behavior. Beyond refills, we are also improving packaging by increasing the use of recycled materials and reducing packaging thickness, ensuring that sustainability doesn’t compromise the experience.    Sustainability in the beauty industry is a collective effort, and we believe in collaboration over competition.
