Our SPRINT start-ups returned to Essen last week to get challenged by industry experts and investors from the #HYDROVERSE at the halfway point of our program. Elestor B.V., Eternal Power GmbH, NitroFix and Othersphere showed their progress since the kick-off, presented their new pitches and got feedback on these improved versions. 💂♂️ An exciting addition to the program was the visit from the Innovate UK delegation. 12 promising #hydrogen start-ups presented their innovative technical ideas and solutions, each in a one-minute elevator pitch. Another opportunity for our start-ups to connect with peers and future partners. 🧠 Our SPRINTers also got input on Technical Readiness Level (TRL) assessment and Technical Due Diligence (TDD) from one of our shareholders, TÜV SÜD - kudos to Florian Michl and Pierre Huck for leading the workshop! 🧳 Afterwards, our start-ups headed to Hamburg to meet the TSO Innovation Club and visit the H2 Expo. An electrolyser with a capacity of 80 megawatts is to be built on the site by 2028. The project is seen as a flagship for the German market as it will produce around 8,000 tonnes of green hydrogen per year. Eternal Power has already secured initial customer commitments and signed a preliminary contract worth over 2.3 billion euros. Eternal Power is currently part of SPRINT batch #6 and is working on challenges such as offtake, term sheets and financing with the help of our #H2 industry experts and business mentors in our highly personalized 10-week accelerator program.
