🌍Social responsibility is a core part of our mission – and a key component of our apprentice programme. 🌸 Last week, as part of our Social Day initiative, our apprentices in Wipperfürth spent time at a local retirement home. They brightened the resident’s day with crafts and hand-painted flowerpots, shared a lovely lunch, and wrapped up the day with freshly made waffles. 🧇 💐 🎨 We’re proud to see our apprentices embrace the values of social responsibility and community engagement from the very start of their journey with us.   #SocialResponsibility #CommunityEngagement #InternshipProgram #MakingADifference

💡 Fibre optic cables: most of us have heard of, or even used them but do you know how they work? 🤔 Fibre optics transmit coded information as pulses of light (photons) along a thin glass or plastic fibre, no thicker than a hair! The magic happens in the fibre core and its cladding (surrounding the core), each with a different refractive index that reflects light at just the right angle, keeping those light particles bouncing down the length of the cable. 🌟Showcasing our industry: highlights from the trainee fair 🌟 This past Saturday, Habia proudly participated in the trainee fair at Bergisches Berufskolleg in Wipperfürth, Germany. As always, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with graduates and tell them more about our industry, what Habia does, and how we enable the technologies of the future. 🌐 💡 With many leading companies in attendance, we were proud to stand alongside them and showcase our innovative cables and some of the impressive projects created by our talented trainees.
