Wie können wir #KI verantwortungsvoll gestalten und eine ethische und nachhaltige Entwicklung und Anwendung von KI-Technoloigien vorantreiben? Darum geht es auf unserer AI@HPI Conference am 3. und 4. Die Ausstellung "Munch. Lebenslandschaft" ist seit 1. April nicht mehr am #MuseumBarberini zu sehen - dank des BBC News World Service gibt es trotzdem noch ein besonderes Souvenir an die Ausstellung: "Munch on the Move" hat die Teams des Munchmuseet, des Clark Art Institute und des Museums Barberini beim Aufbau begleitet und gibt Einblicke in die Vorbereitungen eines Ausstellungsprojektes mit drei internationalen Museumspartnern. Welcome at HPI! Wir haben Besuch von zwei Doktoranden aus Stanford ☀️ Herzlich willkommen Matthew Jörke und Lindsay Popowski am HPI!  Die beiden promovieren an der Stanford University in Kalifornien im Bereich #ComputerScience, verbringen den Sommer jedoch in Potsdam am HPI. Im Rahmen eines neuen Forschungsprogramms zwischen dem HPI und dem Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) arbeiten sie am Fachgebiet von Prof. Ralf Herbrich an Projekten zu Human-Centered AI. Matthew forscht an einem #Chatbot zur Förderung eines gesunderen Lebensstils, Lindsay beschäftigt sich mit Algorithmen für Social Media Feeds, wie diese beeinflussen, was Nutzer:innen angezeigt wird und wie nachvollziehbar dieser Vorgang für Nutzer:innen ist. 🤝Die Kooperation möchte die Zusammenarbeit zwischen den beiden Institutionen fördern, der Schwerpunkt des Programms liegt daher auf dem Austausch von Promovierenden in der Forschung. 💭Wir haben Matthew und Lindsay getroffen und mit ihnen über ihre Erwartungen an ihre Zeit am HPI gesprochen. Dazu gehört vor allem auch der wissenschaftliche Austausch, sagt Lindsay: “I'm looking forward to learning from everyone else in this group, especially given the more #AI-orientated perspectives. I'm also working closely with Ralf and getting his advice on my current project, which intersects well with his expertise.” 🎶Aber auch außerhalb ihrer Forschungsarbeit sammeln die beiden viele neue Eindrücke und Erlebnisse. Matthew: „ Berlin is also one of my favorite cities in the world, and it’s always been a dream of mine to live here. It’s been incredible to meet so many interesting people and start building a #community.
