We have compiled a lot of information and our team has also created a very special piece/flap so that the jury can also get their hands on our performance. We are delighted to be among the participants and are eagerly awaiting the jury's decision in autumn. ✈ The grand opening of our new facility in Schkeuditz near Leipzig took place on June 12th. Among the invited guests were representatives of the airlines, business partners, representatives of the city and administration and, of course, the company's employees. It was a special event that essentially expressed the importance of the new location for the company. The significance of the new hangar for the future means not only more capacity, but also state-of-the-art technology and improved working conditions for all employees. Thanks to everyone who came... ✈ During a guided tour, all guests were able to see the services for themselves at various stations: #structure repair, #composite repair, non-destructive testing (#ndt) and the paint booth, with its enormous dimensions, were presented, explained and introduced by the teams with great commitment. Each station offered interesting insights into the different areas of work and the modern equipment in the workshop. Thanks to the team for the effort and support... ✈ After the tour, the celebrations continued in the beautifully designed outdoor area in glorious weather, current aviation topics were discussed and the new premises were toasted in good spirits. The event was a complete success - the new premises provide an excellent basis for the future growth and success of HEICO Aircraft Maintenance as a leading #MRO provider in Europe. 🏢 With 5,000 square meters of hall space on a plot of 18,000 square meters, this modern workshop meets the latest standards. Particularly noteworthy are the sustainable and environmentally friendly technologies that have been integrated into the new building. A large extinguishing water cistern and an infiltration pond for large amounts of rainwater were installed. A planting of 12 large deciduous trees as well as an extensive planting of small trees took place. A photovoltaic system produces 300 kilowatts peak, which is of course used by us; excess capacity is fed into the grid and two electric charging points have been installed to support e-mobility. Our new facility – A milestone for growth and efficiency! Comprehensive possibilities for the repair of composite materials, the repair of sheet metal structures and non-destructive testing. In early 2024, we moved into our new location in Schkeuditz, near Leipzig Airport, Germany. Our state-of-the-art facility has been specifically designed to meet the needs of aircraft component maintenance. With a total area of approx. 6000 square meters, we will not only be able to offer a high-quality repair service, but also expand our repair portfolio extensively, especially in the processing of large components.
